Milano Italian Grill is a gem in Stone Oak. Great food for a great price and an always welcoming environment. Whether you want to sit and eat at the bar, in a nice quiet booth for two or you're having a group outing this location will exceed your needs. The house moscato is a must. No matter what the occasion or the reason if food is involved Milano Italian Grill is the spot. They also have a military discount.

The unfortunate thing is the restaurant would not honor the reservation so the application according to them is totally useless and is not valid

First off, it was Valentines Day and it was our first visit. There were several people that just left because of the wait, but being the clever person I am, we had reservations for 7:15. We were seated at 7:40, the hostess was doing a great job of directing traffic and we were seated in the back room, away from the music, which could be too loud if you sat near the bar. A clean, contemporary restaurant that was very inviting. We were prepared to order right away, thinking that would speed things up. I ordered the Linguine del Mar, and my Valentine ordered the bone in rib eye. Rolls and water presented right away, but then after being seated and ordering by 7:45, our meals did not appear till 8:35. We are patient people, and it was Valentines Day remember. Our waitress kept checking on us, and so did the owner, so that was a nice touch. It let us know we were not forgotten. When the meal did arrive, we were impressed by the presentation, and the amount. My wife's meal, the bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection, the asparagus was farm fresh, and the potatoes were sauted just right. My linguine del Mar was chock full of squid, shrimp, fish, a spicy sauce that was just the right heat, and tons of linguine. We ate all we could but had to take home half. Great lunch for today. Payment was handled quickly and we were out. Our takeaway? We will visit again soon on a not so busy day. It is worth that second look. We would recommend it highly, but let's see what happens on the second visit. Thanks to the staff for making it a great night for some newcomers to the State of Texas. We will be back.

We made reservations at 730 on Valentines on open table. Our table was not ready. They crammed us into a small table by the bar where the servers were overwhelmed by our party of 13 and rude to us after an hour wait. Then we finally moved to our reserved table with more space. We had an awesome 2nd waiter but the pasta was bland and needed salt. The steak was awesome and cooked right. Maybe on a non holiday it woukd have been better but they do not handle the holidays well.

It was Valentine's Day, so they were pretty busy. Most was good, but not great. Wife's food wasn't hot...luke warm at best. The waitress was nice, but swamped. We'll probably try again when not so busy.

I went with my family for an early valentines dinner...The service, atmosphere & food were all delightful. If you have not tried it just yet, you are in for a treat when you do.

The food was excellent. Our table was next to the door to the patio and people were dining outside, so the waiter traffic was busy, but ok. Our waiter was very attentive until we were served, then MIA. We finally had to flag down another waiter to get a check, and we slipped coffee and desert because of the wait. We liked the food and ambiance, so we will give it another try, but if we get the same treatment, we won't be back again.

The arrabiata is unbelievable. Dennis is a great bartender. The music makes you feel like the 1960's in a New York neighborhood Italian restaurant.
