The food was good, I can tell the chefs work well to create decent dishes and the staff were also friendly. However there was a weird smell in the resturant that was lingering, and it put us off our food.

My husband and I visited Mikawa on Saturday night and I have to say it’s the best sushi we have had in a long time! There is a wonderful selection and we tried a mix of sashimi, signature rolls and uramaki and it was all so tasty! The staff are so welcoming and attentive and along with the most amazing sushi they are what really make this place exceptional. If you visited Mr Sushi in this location previously please don’t think they are the same and be put off, they are completely different both in terms of the food and the owners/staff. Can’t recommend this place enough so give it a try! I have no affiliation with this restaurant and rarely write reviews but when you find a local place like this writing a comment is the least I can do to thank them for a great evening.

Four of us needed a place to eat before going to Shepherd's Bush Empire on a Sunday night; Mikawa is literally over the road from the venue so location was spot on. The food quality was a massive bonus: best sashimi, at a really reasonable rate, any of us had had in ages. we all had bento boxes, and we were all delighted (and filled up - which doesn't always happen at a Japanese!). We want to go back to Shepherd's Bush just for this restaurant now. Highly recommended. The concert was great too.

Cute restaurant, delightful service, amazing food. A delicious, pre-theatre meal with friends - we all loved it and would go back if we're in the area again.

Excellent food and friendly staff. I would recommend eating here if you are in the Shepherd's Bush area. The seaweed salad was lovely. Lots of chicken included with the katsu. Fantastic value.
