Small portions. Not that good. Very crowded. Not recommended though ...
Very, very, very good food and service. I highly recommend. I am normally not a fan of brussel sprouts but my wife loves them. Midtown Cafe had a special on brussel sprouts the night we visited and they were OUTSTANDING! I wish I lived in Nashville so I could dine here more often.
Dinner and show with My mom and mother in law
The special dish of Brussel sprouts was excellent.
Fantastic experience! What a gem! I can’t believe I’ve been in Nashville for over 40 years and am just now enjoying this place. The shuttle service is the best marketing idea I’ve seen in ages! Kudos, Randy and your hard-working team!
I love the Midtown Cafe. The food and service are always excellent no matter the time of day or the menu item ordered.
Love this restaurant. Food, service and ambiance always excellent!
Perfect place for business meals. I host client here often. Great food, discrete service and you are able to have a conversation. The owner, Randy Rayburn is a class act. Highly recommend!
Midtown Cafe consistently provides the best service in town along with amazing meals.
We had the shrimp and grits, blackened sea bass, and crab cakes. Everything tasted delicious! We used the shuttle for TPAC, which was a wonderful way to avoid the downtown parking issues.
Diverse menu with both comfort food and lighter dishes. We had to eat at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation but the bartender was friendly and very competent.
Everything was great but I had the lamb chop special and they were very tough even though it was served medium rare.
Same day reservation. Diverse menu. Great food and service
Absolutely no complaints about the restaurant experience itself. I was there with a friend on a TPAC night and reserved spots on the shuttle. This process needs a redesign. It’s not rocket science- get a seat on a shuttle so it can leave. But people save seats for people who end up on the other shuttle, people have to stand for whatever reason. Maybe assign a seat on Shuttle #__ if people can’t act like adults & not whimper when they end up separated from their bestie. Geez- you wind up at the same place in 10 mins.
Every dish was bland and way overpriced for what you got. So many places in Nashville provide better food and a better environment at a better price.
We had New Year's Eve dinner with friends. The special menu was a welcome addition to the usual fine fare. The whole evening turned out very enjoyable.
The food was excellent and the portions more than plenty. Staff is very well trained.
The only problem was that it was really cold in the restaurant. Other than that, perfecto.
Everything on the menu looked so delicious it was almost impossible to choose! Out waiter helped us out and we were not disappointed :) the Bloody Mary was amazing as well as the music city eggs Benedict with beef tenderloin!
Fab! Thanks again for a wonderful evening as always!
Just average. Of the places we visited in Nashville for the weekend this restaurant scored last. There’s a reason why you can walk in on a Saturday night and get a table.
This was so good w came back again a week later. The food was delicious, warm and tasty. The service was excellent - the restaurant is somewhat upscale but the atmosphere is warm, casual, and inviting. And as a bonus they offer free shuttle service to and from TPAC
As always, the food was excellent. The lemon artichoke soup is tops!
One of our favorite places. Always good!
Great food and customer service. All of the wait staff was amazing! We went for breakfast and will definitely be going back.
While pricey the quality of the food is worth it. Courtesy valet more than makes up for the very limited parking. Great service and clean bathroom.
Amazing food. Friendly, helpful and timely service. The outside of the restaurant is deceiving. You wouldn’t expect to get such great food or such a great ambience on the inside.
This dining experience was incredible !!
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our waiter Carlos was very attentive and gave wonderful recommendations. I had bone-in Elk and my wife had veal 3 ways. The food was great from start to finish with dessert and specialty coffees.
Great!!! Always good.
Dinner before concert. Took shuttle. Everything went well.
Amazing service and great food!
I’ll go back
Midtown Cafe doesn't look all that special from the inside. Wait until you eat though. The food is fabulous. Our waitress was sassy and cool. Excellent dinner.
We had a party of 13, well accommodated, excellent staff, all food was great!!
Can't wait to go again.
A Nashville staple and a regular spot for me. The mushroom risotto will knock your socks off.
Love this place😊
Have been many times and have never been dissappointed
With so many fast casual options around, it’s really nice to have a quiet relaxed table cloth restaurant with excellent service and excellent food reasonably priced. Midtown Cafe has been a great go to place for years and years for me and once again I was very happy. I had the pork tenderloin with risotto and asparagus Which was delicious and nicely cooked. My companion had the Reuben sandwich which was huge and delicious! We’ll be back!
