When one says, “Mi Vida,” they are telling someone special how much they mean to them. MI VIDA describes how we feel about our team and our guests. It is our expression of Mexican culture and cuisine as interpreted through the lens of Chef Roberto Santibañez. Our menu is rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.

    It was freezing! Unusually cold. The weather was cold for a mid-June day, so we were surprised when we walked into the restaurant and found it was even colder! It made our food cold faster. By the time I finished my entree it was cold.

    Very slow staff, they didn’t want to fix an issue with a drink order that took half a hour, they marked me as a no-show which caused issues with OpenTable that I had to fix. Save your money and go else where.

    Our server was excellent. As soon as we were seated, she came over to ask us what type of water and returned immediately with water and to take our drink orders. Our kids were starving the and the guacamole came quickly and was delicious. The chicken tacos were really good but too spicy for our daughter but there was plenty of other food for her. Our server heard it was our daughter's birthday and our son had graduated so she brought each kid desert which they loved. Everyone was very friendly, and we'll definitely be back.

    We have experienced Mi Vida Penn quarter over the Capitals Season 2024 and over the past year. Having the best meals before a Caps game. Mi Vida Penn Quarter has never disappointed. To be honest and I always am on review, you could use the word candid about restaurants, this place rocks. The service the food the total experience is “top notch top notch”. The time we visit just bar it is 90% awesome but it’s because the place is packed. Special thanks to Victor. I try to ask for him specifically as his knowledge of the menu and the bar items are outstanding. Only second to his positive attitude willingness to go above and beyond. I also noticed tonight Victor was training a new server, we agree as hie needs to pass his knowledge to others. Now the FOOD OMG. Taco Carnitas delicious. Rancheros Quesadilla even though vegetarian it will be ordered again.YUM. Of course flan nuff said. We are definitely coming back even non hockey times and will recommend to visitors and friends. PEACE
