Host was not nice, despite having a reservation due in 5 minutes. She told us she will page us when table is ready. Came bake 15 minutes past our reservation and she acted like she didn't know us even though there were plenty of tables... Fun start. My daughter's chicken quesadilla was inedible with burnt tortilla (beyond seared), congealed globs of cheese (cold) and 2 tiny thin pieces of chicken jerky that was not chewable (pics). Also, asked for the white rice and beans as a side, but not in the same bowl (dietary restrictions) and they refused to accommodate which was beyond weird and stupid, to be frank. Papaya salad was tasty but the mango and papaya were frozen ice blocks. Wife's empanadas were ok, she said. Just a weird food experience for such a vibrant looking place. Would not go back, unfortunately.

Three us had lunch. Of the 10 items we ordered 9 were excellent. One dud. But the manager could not have been nicer about it and a free dessert was delivered. Appetizers, mins and desserts were all delicious. Good cocktails too.

Our server was so happy and personable giving us a smile and great suggestions throughout our dining experience. Food was delicious! The only reason for 4 stars is that a piece of our order came to the table late. Everything else was 5 stars. On a nice day, reserve the patio!

Just overrated. The place is really nice I love the deco and ambient, that kinda justify the high price of the drinks. Personnel is great, waiter was friendly attentive and really helpful. But the food... Food is not good (not bad neither, just not good enough), it's just super expensive for the value it has.

The reservation served its purpose. We were seated immediately however, the wait time after the order was put in was over an hour and the food was cold. The service was poor it seemed as if they were short on personnel. $200 for 4 adults and 1 child. If you want a great experience, don’t come here.

It was my wife’s birthday so we decide to dine at Mi Vida. No regrets. The food was delicious. And I mean everything from the chips and guacamole to the entrees and dessert were all delicious. No regrets here. And we will come back again soon.

The reviews for this place were promising. The staff were friendly with attentive and quick service. Unfortunately, the food was lackluster. The portion sizes were reasonable however not all of the dishes we ordered arrived. Sadly, the food that did turn up was disappointing which mostly was sent back. Though not directly requested, the cheque was not amended to reflect missing plates and the disappointing plates we received. The ambiance was great and the drinks were good.

First dinner place in Washington while visiting and WOW, it set the bar high. My husband and I shared a meal for two. There were several appetizers, several meals, and dessert brought out for a very reasonable price. I will always remember this place!

We ordered chicken enchilada and salmon entrees. Both were quite good. Though they have an extensive wine menu we ordered only cocktails. They were good as well. The service was bit rushed but it was understandable given that there were so many people waiting. My only complaint is the high parking rates in the garage which the merchants are not allowed to discount for the shoppers. So, the parking added 20% to our food bill. For someone visiting from the suburbs this reduces the overall value of the meal.

I came for my birthday and made reservations. They had no idea where to seat us took us all the way upstairs and then back downstairs. The cornbread was dry . The margarita was probably the best frozen margarita I’ve ever had though. And the enchiladas were superb but I felt like our server forgot about us at times 🥲

Reserved an indoor table but was sat on a patio extension under heat lamps even thought restaurant was not full. Food was good but enchiladas were quite spicy for our taste.
