Lunch outside was perfect. It was windy, but their patio is closed off enough it wasn't a bother. The food was incredible. Can't wait to go back.
nice place with wonderful outdoor patio. a non traditional twist on the food from traditional Greek appetizers and entrees with a spectacular flair.
Great service very friendly we all appreciated the food suggestions by the waitress.
Loved rhe food. We had grilled octopus, bacon wrapped sates, roasted brussel sprouts and bacon, beet salad, artichoke hearts. Every dish delicious. We sat at table on outdoor coveredd patio, well shaded, comfy. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Food and service was excellent!
We stopped for a small dinner at Meze. Very nice Mediterraneo place, has a nice covered outdoor seating area with grape vines growing around the enclosed area. Very romantic! We had few hot tapas plates, all were delicious! I would come back
Enjoyed the tapas. Nice variety. Liked the patio dining. Unfortunately our table was very wobbly. Server was very attentive. Food came out quickly after we ordered
Our appetizers and dinner were delicious. A great cocktail and wine list. We plan to come again soon and try some different dishes. Very happy with the experience.
Meza is a Great dining experiance from the food to the ambience.
A vibrent bar scene along with an outdoor patio that is so relaxing with a wonderful
waterfall in the backround.
Fantastic food and service!
Fantastic meal. The waiter was very attentive and remembered it was our anniversary from OT. The food was over the top delicious. The house drinks were outstanding. Will be back soon.
Went on a Friday night around 6:45. It wasn’t too crowded. We sat inside which had a beautiful decor. Definitely more my type of restaurant over my boyfriends. Our waitress , Natasha was very friendly and attentive . We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer which were fantastic. My boyfriend and I both ordered the free range chicken , which was OK . It came with 3 roasted potatoes which were really good . It was a good portion for the price of $22 but I’ve had better chicken . Would definitely go back and try something else.
The appetizers and Caeser salad was great, the main course my chicken was lukewarm, no potatoes with steaks, we ordered vegetables and had to search for waiter to get them because they were forgotten and the brussel sprouts were hard and not hot. The main meal was disappointing.
I recently dined here with two friends for a late lunch/early dinner ( "linner"). It was perfect. We were in the area for other reasons and needed something to eat. I was trying to avoid all the chain restaurants in the area and happened on this in OpenTable. Intrigued, I made reservations for the dining room, but when we arrived, we settled in the bar area because it was inviting, cooler, and were received wonderful service from the bartender. We started off with wine. They have several options for wine pours ( regular and large pours). Our barkeep ably assisted picking some out for us. In addition, we learned they have a wine cabinet service which allows you to purchase the wines at retail and store them at the restaurant. This was great, as they had several wines which you would not be able to find easily at Binnys etc.)
We started with the hummus dish and immediately fell in love with the tapenade. Orders included the protein bowl ( great way to mind the diet, but get what you really wanted), the lamb burger ( cooked perfectly with pita standing in for traditional hamburger bun), and a beautifully prepared salmon. We left with full stomachs and happy thoughts. Service was excellent, dishes appearing just a we needed them, with wonderfully chosen wine pairings, and speedy water refills. We will be back with bigger group. The decor is a lovely respite from the Woodfield area chaos and you feel like you have entered a calm oasis. The lamps in the lobby and the bar are worth checking out. You'll see. Besides the wine club option, they have piano bar on Thursday nights I believe and happy hour. Go. You won't be disappointed
We wanted to love this place but it just didn't happen. We were there for a business lunch. The service was good. The server was very courteous, however, the food was very bland. The prosciutto flat bread was about the only good thing we ordered. Everything else lacked flavor. The avocado "fries" were anything but good. The server said they had a "kick". Unfortunately they did not. The lamb burger my colleague ordered was overcooked and oversalted. My shrimp/veggie/hummus bowl was served with overcooked (almost what looked like melted) orzo, flavorless roasted veggies and two shrimp. Our client also ordered one of the bowls and also complained about the dish lacking flavor. Overall very disappointing experience. The place is beautiful inside and out, however, the food is nowhere near where it needs to be to be considered Mediterranean. This is coming from someone that is from the Mediterranean region.
Good value for the price we pay. Very quite. Good location for business discussions.
Great outdoor seating. Food was a bit greasy
The food here is awsome. THEY HAVE A GREAT OUTDOOR DINING AREA. Meza is a must !!!
Great food and ambience!
Delish!! Expensive yes but your worth it. Unique yes!! Tapas yes. Just go it’s worth it
Great variety in Mediterranean dishes. Will return to try a sampling of the small plates to share
Great delicious food!! Natasha was an excellent server!
For a Friday night, it was not crowded at all.
Great food and atmosphere. The staff was great. Brin our waitress took really good care of us
Our first time at this restaurant. Ambience is very nice, I love the look of the bar and can't wait to come back there. We sat in the dining room. Plenty of great choices on the menu. Ordered the special risotto with lamb. Even though I usually prefer risotto a little creamier, it was delicious. My husband said his salmon was the best he eaten. Will definitely come back on a nice day to sit outside.
Really slow and bad service, bland flatbreads. Went here for Father's Day dinner and felt bad for the dads in our family because it wasnt good.
I went here for my birthday to try something new. It was a Wednesday evening, not very noisy and service & food were great!
Excellent restaurant. Server is outstanding! Food quality is wonderful.
The owner and staff are wonderful.
Very nice. Food is excellent! Unfortunately, it is a little off the beaten path, so not very busy. Therefore, people should go because the food is outstanding!
Great options for gluten free diners. The menu has asterisked the items that are not gluten free--a nice change from the typical approach. There are so many tasty gluten free small plates. We also had a vegetarian in our group and she was also very pleased with her options. Finally, to complete the group, we had a picky eater. She found items that she also enjoyed. So you can see that we were a challenging group to satisfy, yet this restaurant succeeded! The wine list was diverse. The piano bar added a nice touch with the live music. Highly recommend.
Loved the piano player in the bar area. Food was excellent loved the grilled octopus and the bacon wrapped dates.
The food and service was adequate, but the price point was too high for what you get.
We went here for our anniversary and unfortunately was very disappointed. The food was very nice and our server was trying very hard however it was clear that they were either understaffed or poorly managed. We stood at the host stand for a solid 5 min before anyone came to greet us despite the bar being right next to the stand and multiple wait staff walking past us. When someone did finally come to help us they brought us to a dirty table that we had to stand and wait while it was cleared and re set in front of us. I still stepped on a dirty fork that was left under the table. It was about 25 min from stepping into the restaurant until we got our drinks. Our server really stepped up and tried to make the rest of our experience a good one but we were already disappointed. The food was fine. We had made a reservation and noted that it was our anniversary however no one acknowledged it. I was just expecting more as they marketed themselves as an upscale restaurant with upscale prices. Probably won’t be going back.
I was excited to try a “new” restaurant. This is basically the same owner, just “new concept” restaurant. Same overpriced, mediocre food. My pesto pasta was drenched in something more like an Alfredo sauce (and I couldn’t eat it). Calamari was very bland and dry, as if it’d been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. Won’t go back.
The food at Meze is the very best in the area. You can't get a better meal anywhere else in Schaumburg!
We started at the bar for cocktails and they were pricey, but tasty. A round of 2 drinks and 2 beers for 4 people was $35. We chose to move to a bar table for dinner as we were really enjoying the piano player. We sat there for 10 minutes before a server came over to address us, instead 3 servers the hostess and the bartender sat around chit chatting while we waited. We ordered 4 tapas dishes to share. We were informed they were out of mussels and then they brought us chicken kabobs instead of pork kabobs b/c they were out of those too. Sure disappointing experience.
Everything we had was delicious! Food taste A+, Presentation A+, Service A+, Ambiance A+. Great menu options! Definitely recommend!
Everything we had had was superb. Artichoke appetizer was amazing. Lamb shank is delicious! I highly recommend!! The wine list is the best I’ve ever seen!
from the drinks at the bar and free cheese and fig jelly to the four unique tapas capped off by the main meal. What a great dining experience. Will be back
