   The food was good, however, the service wasn't great. The chips were too salty. One entre didn't include chicken as ordered and an appetizer we didn't order was on our bill. Previous visits had been much better.

   We met friends for lunch. They have just moved to Durham. Great food, and we appreciate the tolerance of our lingering. Food is fabulous and service is top notch!!

   We were in Durham for an event and the restaurant was in close proximity. In reading reviews online, we decided to give it a try. Every person in our party of 6 raved about the food they ordered, which included the chili rellleno, grilled swordfish special, chicken tinga tacos, and more. Everyone commented on the freshness of the vegetables, the unique combination of flavors and ingredients, and the ambiance. An all-around great dining experience...great food, excellent cocktails and the staff could not have been better. The event we attended is an annual one in the same hotel, so we will definitely return to Mez for another delicious dinner next year!

   The food here is usually pretty good. Today was a little off on the taste for me. The fajitas were good, but rice was just ok. The churros weren’t very well presented and didn’t taste as good as I had hoped. All those dishes are better at a ‘regular’ Mexican restaurant I am sorry to say. Service was good but we would have liked a quicker refill on drinks.

   All the food in our group was reported to be good. The Pollo dish is way overpriced for the comparable portions of the meals others in our group got. Overall very tasty but not worth the money. Would prefer real Mexican at some other places. Beyond that it was a nice ambiance and the service was acceptable.

   It wasn’t what I expected. I heard great things about this place and since I absolutely love Mexican, I had to try it. I ordered the fajitas which was really a piece of pre-grilled chicken, not like fajitas from traditional Mexican restaurants. It wasn’t terrible but my food was semi-warm. The hostesses were all very nice so I expected the same from the waiter which was a total let down. I don’t even think he told his name. Overall, I’m glad I tried it but can’t promise that I would return.

    We arrived about 45 minutes early on Mother’s Day, and we were welcomed in and seated immediately. Our server, Cat, made several excellent suggestions to enhance our dining experience. Our hot meals arrived quickly after ordering. Cat was very attentive. Everything was DELICIOUS!! We also engaged in delightful conversation with a young man from Costa Rica who had just graduated from a college in the Triangle, and was there with his family. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we will return soon.
