                                        Turkish cuisine is a treasure house of dishes picked up form all over the Ottoman empire though the ages, and is also modernizing. There are very few high quality restaurants for this sort of cuisine. Meyhouse is certainly one of the best I've seen in the US - certainly in Silicon Valley. There are foods that don't get much love here like sweetbreads and liver, but also a great selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes, seafood and grilled meats. There's a good selection of Meze, and it's a good idea to start with a bunch of these, and then move on to a main course. It works better with more people or bigger appetites.

                                        Very beautiful restaurant with prix fix bargain lunch. The service was ok. The waiter was not very knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered an overly salad to share which was to have contained olives and did not which sounds trivial yet considering it was $22 should have Vern served with the ingredients stated on the menu. It’s a bargain and I would go back but I can’t highly recommend it.

                                        We love the food here but the restaurant is quite noisy. We could not sit at the right side of the restaurant in the alcove unless our previous visit. We were told it was the ADA section. Service is wonderful as usual.

                                        We had a lovely lunch gathering with three friends. We ordered hummus, Gavurdagi salad, lamb chops, and grilled branzino. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. The warm bread served with the hummus was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside—we even asked for a refill, which is rare since the ladies are usually on a diet! The Turkish signature dessert, künefe, along with the coffee service, made for a perfect ending. We’ll definitely be back!

                                        Our server seemed to have forgotten our dessert order, so we ended up waiting around 30–40 minutes before it arrived. We understand it was a busy and long day (3ish pm) and appreciate how hard the staff was working, but the wait did feel quite long. There was also a noticeable delay between finishing our appetizers and placing our main course orders. We’d appreciate a bit more attentiveness with timing in the future.

                                        Everything we ate was delicious. The sesame crusted bread was a great accompaniment throughout the meal to dip into the sauces and hummus. We shared and ate every bite of Levrek (marinated branzino) Turkmen Mantisi -Steamed dumplings over garlic yogurt with paprika-butter, hummus, and lamb chops and profiterole for dessert. A perfect gin martini and a virgin mojito. The place is large and nicely decorated and service was very good. Will definitely return.
