As a hotel guest, it states that dinner is served until 9pm. We made a reservation for 8:45 and were told the kitchen was already closed before even sitting down. We had been on a long tour and now we’re without many dinner options. To add insult to injury, there was a table that was actively ordering dinner. We already knew what we wanted, but understand a kitchen closes. It was a huge disappointment and left a sour taste in our mouth as we had to venture back out to find food, only to discover that most kitchens were closed as well. Thankfully, we found a cute little place that was quite lovely around the bend.

We had a great time at Apex. The service was excellent and it’s one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be coming back.

Angelo and the rest of the staffs were all lovely. Superb service! Thank you for making me feel special on my birthday. Looking forward to visit again when we’re back in Edinburgh.

Service was slow, the restaurant was steady but not too bust. staff were pleasant and friendly. Only ordered drinks and mains and waited 40 minutes for our food. Will not be back.
