   There only seemed to be one waitress and although she always had a smile on her face, she was totally stretched thin. We had to wait for additional help to purchase wine and she actually suggested we get us to get bottles ourselves from top shelves were a ladder was needed. This is to a group of ladies in their late 50s to 70s. There seemed to be a restaurant manager wandering around but she did not offer to help and would just look away. Strange, managers should lead by example. Poor example set here.

   We really enjoy dining at Messina Hof Harvest Green! Excellent food, delicious wine, and friendly staff. I especially love when we get to sit in the outside patio. This has become one of our regular go to restaurants!

   We reserved a patio table and none weee available. Insisted and for one. Then we sat for 20 mins without even a glass so water. Went in and DOJ s manager Caaaey. She attended to us the entire way and it got better. Beat part was sed the wine. Food was only ok. Came home with 3 bottles after a nice tasting Expedia with Sam at the bar. In all a nice experience. Just think they’re not ready to offer the outdoor patio experience. Waiters very sparse. Seating g haphazard. Wine very nice!

    The linguini with short rid was just ok. It seemed that the short rib was premade and just thrown into the linguini. Some pieces of meat were cold or room temperature. My sons prim rib had little flavor and too much juice was poured over his mashed potatoes. It turned them into soup.

    Food was fabulous! My hubby ordered the daily special - 12 oz. Prime rib roast with garlic mashed potatoes and house made horseradish sauce. It was awesome! The prime rib was so tender, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. The potatoes were wonderful too. I had another daily special - balsamic glazed salmon. It too was perfectly prepared. I asked to have it a little rare and the kitchen nailed it.

    I tried the new Shrimp and Grits on the menu. It was fantastic. It ranks as one of the best I’ve eaten. Additional, the GSM blend paired perfect. The GSM ALS paired well with the Three cheese stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. .

    We ordered the Baked Goat Cheese for the table which was very good. The Fig and Prosciutto Pizza was very good and enjoyed by two of our party of three. I ordered the Coffee Crusted New York Strip($37) which possibly had the most gristle of any steak I've ever had. High end restaurant steak price, but "all you can eat" establishment quality.

    This is not what we’ve come to expect from Messina Hof. The bartender couldn’t even tell me about the wine I was tasting. I would not recommend stopping here Especially if this is your only Messina Hof experience Sad because it was my birthday 😭

    Our waiter, Maria, was outstanding and very helpful. We asked her to make the selections for our wine tasting experience. Her choices were all exceptional. We were disappointed that the 2 wines that were unavailable were a Chardonnay and Gewurtztraminer which we really like. However, that forced us to try other wines that we really enjoyed. We had shareable appetizers and desserts to go with our wine tasting. Everything was delicious with the exception of the brownie and crumb cake being a bit too dry. We might visit again. Hope to try the Bryan location as well.

    If you like WINE, especially Messina Hof, then this is the place to go. We have been many times since the opening and the wine list is great! Ive tried several red, light red, rose, and whites. They have new kitchen staff, they dont seem to understand what quality the customer expects for the price range of the menu items. The last few times we have been, the food has not been good! In January, the goat cheese appetizer was burnt, last month the pizza was burnt, a few weeks ago the steak was over done. Last night we did a work social, two persons had the Shrimp in Grits (I've had this in August 2021 and was so good!), one person had pizza, one person had steak, one person had veggie pasta. The shirmp n grits were horrible, shrimp were over done and the grits was a big glob of grits on the plate. The pizza was over fired. The steak was cooked perfectly, but the veggeis were not! No comment on the veggie pasta. It so sad, becasue I love M&H and I want this to be the place. I recommend if you go, stick witht he appetizers and wine!

    We like to sit at the bar for dinner, but the bar height, is too high for comfort. My carrots were not cook, so they brought out more. By the time if received them I was done with my fish. My husband ordered the pork chop, it was good, just kind of bland. I will be back but not for dinner; I prefer the brunch menu.

    Two times now, we have gone to the Harvest Green Messina Hof location, for redemptions of an unforgettable BAD experience, and have received, to put it modestly, and poor industry standard service. We were having dinner at the Harvest Green location, our waiter spent most of the time while we were there talking with "her regulars" who were in plain view 3 tables down from us. We had to flag down other waiters and talk to the kitchen staff to get refills and ask for recommendations. Our second trip to Harvest Green was much of the same; flagging down our server, asking for recommendations from the kitchen staff, and an inability to correctly and in a time-efficient manner calculate our bill. We were late for our next obligation because of the lack of proficiency to handle and negligence to prioritize our situation. We have no desire to be continually ignored by a staff and served sub par food. There are plenty of other places to eat in the area.
