   I had dinner with a friend and my son. My friend ordered the veal masala, my son had a pizza, and I had the calamari steak. The calamari steak was very tender and tasty. The veal masala was also very yummy. My son enjoyed the pizza - he said it was better than a neighborhood gourmet pizza place. The desserts were quite divine. My friend who loves pudding & flan had a pudding that was rich and just the right about of sweetness. My son and I shared a tiramisu which was good as well. The service people were very friendly. We enjoyed our meals very much.

   We have been wanting to go to the restaurant's new location for some time ,and finally had a chance Sunday evening .As always the food was excellent… The gnocchi are among the best available in San Francisco. The interior however is somewhat drab, not cozy and charming like the previous location. However,the excellent service and tasty food more than makes up for the lack of decor.

   Mescolanza serves excellent food and wine. The service is good but the noise is terrible. I'm not sure I would return because it is even hard to have a conversation.

   4.5 stars for this Richmond District gem! We've dined here three times in the past two months, and have enjoyed ourselves each time. From the delicious offerings (the pastas are excellent), to the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere of the much larger restaurant site (compared to the original "cozy" place on Clement Street), to the friendly and helpful wait-staff, this will now be our new go-to place for a wonderful evening out. The desserts are yummy, too!

   We absolutely LOVED our experience at Mescolanza! We learned of the restaurant from the show 'Check Please Bay Area' and we're so glad we had the chance to try it out this past weekend. The restaurant is attractive, the wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and with one exception, the food was fantastic! We very much enjoyed both the carpaccio and polenta appetizers (the polenta was off the hook!), a green salad and the house-made gnocci, which was the best we'd ever had. I also ordered the Pizzeta Mescolanza which I cannot recommend - although the toppings all sounded great, it was a miss for us. Oh, and we shared one of the flan-like desserts which was delicious as well. I give Mescolanza two thumbs up!

   Went here for casual dinner with friends on a Friday night and the service and food was lovely! The portion size is not too large and just the right amount. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and it was delicious! All of the people who work here are wonderful and we were the last table to leave and they did not rush us as at all. Will come back again for sure!

   Mescolanza is a good Italian restaurant with all the typical italian dishes, piazza, pasta, seafood, etc. Nothing outstanding, but just a good tasting and solid italian meal. Nice and attentive wait staff and one of the best Tiramisu I ever had.

    Loved the restaurant when it was in the old location. Went there for the first time in the new location. Food was still really good, and service was amazing. Will definitely go back, and recommend it to friends.
