   The incredible view of the Rappahanock and the fresh oysters can’t be beat! Always a treat to come.

   Came here once ten years ago and loved it. Somehow Merroir lived up to a decade old great memory and did not disappoint whatsoever. Service was attentive, food was great. We came for the oysters and stayed for the clams, and fish. Great wine list, and even better views. I hope it doesn't take us ten years to get back here!

   Yesterday, we dined at Merrior, a Tasting Room in Topping, Virginia for the first time. As an added bonus it was a perfect place to celebrate Easter. The weather was gorgeous so we opted to dine in the shade under the beautiful ivy right on the beach. Our server, Myles energetically greeted and expertly helped us navigate the enticing menu choices. We ultimately decided on ceviche, one dozer Rappahannock fried oysters and one Rappahanock dozen bbq butter roasted oysters. And a stuffin muffin. Of course Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel Drizzles and Key Lime Pie were both a MUST. Myles, thank you for making our first visit to Merrior, a Tasting Room so very special. We will be back soon.

   Merroir is a place to not be missed. The oysters, raw and roasted, and the rockfish were incredible; the views beautiful and the service was warm and friendly. Was a wonderful way to spend Easter with friends.

   We were able to switch our reservation to outside using Open Table message with quick response. Beautiful view over the water. Service was friendly and slow delivery of food was expected, due to the crowd. We ordered a dozen of each kind of oyster - so fresh and good! We also enjoyed the shrimp dip, oyster chowder and po boys. Everything was excellent, as it is every time we eat at Merrior!

   Raw oysters and a salad. Perfection. My husband had the pimento burger and kettle chips. Perfection. The view at the marina with the oyster boats dropping the loads at the dock. Perfection.

   Fresh oysters and clams. Friendly staff. We will return when it's a little warmer so we can sit outside!

   Service was excellent. Food was good though a limited menu. Portions were on the small side for the price point. The location is the draw for sure. The Key Lime pie was perfection. I recommend this venue.

    Consistently an exceptional dining experience, worth the drive off the freeway. Fresh, briny oysters along with well seasoned oyster stew, scallops and the savory, unique stuffing muffin. Idyllic waterside location and sunset ambience.
