   It was so fabulous we came back a second time. We arrived early so we could sit outside and watch the sunset. Truly one of the most incredible restaurants - we will be back again soon!

   Overall, we loved this restaurant HOWEVER, I was so looking forward to this experience that I made our reservation over a month in advance, showed up 25 minutes early and probably had the worst seat in the house. The big attraction is the restaurant's location right on the water. While others were seated ocean-front with beautiful views, we were seated in the very back, right outside the kitchen, which besides not having any view at all, made it incredible hard to hear each other. Once seated, I wanted to make the request for a better table, but our server was amazing, and I felt bad asking to be switched out of her section. The food was top notch, but I was so concentrated on our terrible seating that it was overshadowed. It was too bad that walk-in's were treated to much better seating. I want to try it again, but will request a more prominent table.

   This was one of the most beautiful scenic restaurants we have ever been to. Our server, Lauren, explained the menu perfectly. The food was just over the top. Well done folks!

   We absolutely LOVE Merrimans!!! You cannot beat the food and especially the view and great SUNSET!!

   Our food is ALWAYS exceptional! We come here for Macadamia mahi at least 4 times a year. I’m not a big fish person but I even had the Tako escargot. Delicious!! Nothing is fishy. Always exceeding our expectations. Berry is wonderful as always!

   I’d been to Merriman’s on the Big Island and loved it. This was a big disappointment. The setting and atmosphere is great but the food was average or worse at best. I tried everything, appetizer, drink, desert and entree and all were sub part. Won’t be going there again soon. If you want a great experience with food that is to die for on Maui go to MaMa’s

   Restaurant Review: A Culinary Gem From the moment I stepped into this exquisite restaurant, I knew I was in for a special dining experience. The oceanfront view is breathtaking. It’s a place where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. The service was impeccable. Each staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and a keen interest in ensuring our experience was flawless. Our server, Marina, was knowledgeable, providing insightful recommendations and checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. It’s clear that the management places a strong emphasis on training their team to deliver exceptional service. Now, let’s talk about the food—truly the star of the show. Each dish was a work of art, not only in presentation but also in flavor. The chef’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the meticulously sourced ingredients to the creative flavor combinations that tantalized our taste buds. We started with an appetizer that was a perfect introduction to the meal, Poisson Cru and Hirabara Farms Beet Salad—For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared Wok Charred Ahi, cooked to perfection and served with a harmonious blend of roasted vegetables, I chose to substitute. My dining companion chose the USDA Prime Filet Mignon that was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth texture and taste. Dessert was the crowning glory of our meal, a stunning Pineapple-Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding served alongside house-made Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream. Each bite was pure bliss, and it was the perfect way to conclude a remarkable dining experience. This restaurant sets the standard for fine dining, with its exceptional attention to detail in every aspect—from service to cuisine.     Merrimans was amazing! Our favorite dinner in Maui. Our waitress was incredible and the food was delicious! We are so thankful to have gone.
