   My husband and i both ordered the macadamian crusted mahi and it was good but we were both Extremely disappointed when we were seated and the table was in the middle of the room instead of by the window where we requested when we made our reservation. There was an available open table by the window but we were told it was reserved already! We were in Maui to Celebrate our 45th wedding Anniversary and chose Merrimans for their gorgeous sunset views!!! But unfortunately we were NOT offered that!! Definitely not a great experience!

   Merriman’s has one of the best views. Food is excellent but they do seem to rush you through your meal.

   Great views, good food and good service. Valet parking is a must here.

   What a fantastic experience. Celebrating our 53rd anniversary we were led to a table with a glorious view, given a special menu to bring home with us and greeted with a glass of sparkling wine. The food was delicious and our server, Miguel was attentive and friendly. It was a perfect evening.

   Mike was a wonderful server. He made us feel welcome and cared for and he made our celebration very special. Your chefs are doing a wonderful job. All of our dishes came out well prepared and warm.

   It was so fabulous we came back a second time. We arrived early so we could sit outside and watch the sunset. Truly one of the most incredible restaurants - we will be back again soon!

    Overall, we loved this restaurant HOWEVER, I was so looking forward to this experience that I made our reservation over a month in advance, showed up 25 minutes early and probably had the worst seat in the house. The big attraction is the restaurant's location right on the water. While others were seated ocean-front with beautiful views, we were seated in the very back, right outside the kitchen, which besides not having any view at all, made it incredible hard to hear each other. Once seated, I wanted to make the request for a better table, but our server was amazing, and I felt bad asking to be switched out of her section. The food was top notch, but I was so concentrated on our terrible seating that it was overshadowed. It was too bad that walk-in's were treated to much better seating. I want to try it again, but will request a more prominent table.
