Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

The food was phenomenal! The pineapple bread pudding was the best dessert we have ever had. The ambiance was amazing with breathtaking views. The best part….. was the service. Our server was so charismatic and genuine. What an amazing experience! Mahalo

We loved every minute of it our dining experience!! The cocktails were great. I asked for an Anejo Tequila Martini and told the server( Andy … who was So Attentive and recommended some of his favorite dishes on the menu) how I wanted it made and it came out Perfect!! The Tako Escargot appetizer was Incredible which we shared and I was tempted to order two of them as an entree but decided to have the Chef’s special Fish entree ( which was Kamachi … a mild white meat fish that was sautéed and finished with a Ginger buttery sauce along with with black rice, baby Bok Chou and chili sautéed eggplant. It was Superb!! We finished with a complimentary desert ( we were celebrating a birthday ) a small formed Chocolate like Ganache with a dollop of fresh cream and 4 crusted pistachios SOOOO GOOD!! The Ambiance is wonderful and the View is Spectacular!! Albeit on the expensive side we felt it was worth every penny!! Everyone should experience this exceptional Fine Dining experience!! The service was absolutely terrific. Probably some of the best service we've ever had in our life at a restaurant. The Ambiance is over the top! Sure to walk the grounds of the place.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with Merriman and we could not have been better taken care of. From the special menu greeting for us to take as a memento to the glass of rose to the amazing server (she really is on another level. Her input on the menu and descriptions were above and beyond) to the food. Excellent. Food - excellent smoked taro hummus, daily fish special (amberjack and shrimp) glad I tried. Shrimp a little rough but other good. Filet- excellent. But the show stopper- the macadamia nut/pineapple bread pudding. Just for for this alone and it’s worth it. I’ll also add, not food related, the valet was a much appreciated service. The boys working the night we were there were working hard.

Everything about this restaurant is 5-star! The food was excellent, as was the service. I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-experience when on Maui! They made it extra special for our anniversary, which was much appreciated.
