    Mega Margarita Monday is always great. Our Golden Margaritas and pizzas were delicious. The calamari was overcooked, dry, but everything else excellent. Always a fun evening.

    We’ve been to Meritage many times including holidays. We’ve always had good experiences. Last night was the first time that something was off. I ordered the pork medallions and was told that they didn’t have any left. Not a big deal, but it was my first choice. My fiancé and I both ordered the pear salad with grilled chicken. Both were very good, but his was drenched in salad dressing. He usually likes a lot of dressing, but this was over the top. When we first ordered he ordered a mixed drink. The waiter failed to bring the drink to us before our salads and ended up trying to bring it at the end of our meal. My fiancé refused it. At that point he didn’t even want it, and you could tell by looking at it that the ice had melted and the drink was watered down. The waiter was really busy. He had a table that was next to us that had about 12 people so I could see how it could have been missed. Needless to say, our dinner experience was not perfect. It always has been in the past. I guess it just wasn’t our night.

    Always get great service at the bar at Meritage! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The lobster cardinale and swordfish entree were both delicious.

    Enjoyed most dishes, had a good waiter, but pizza was terrible, crust was akin to cardboard.

    Meritage never disappoints. The Risotto was amazing. Our server Dillon was attentive and very helpful with dinner choices.

    Two entries ordered was the Halibut and Steak which were the so called "specials" for the evening at $32 and $34 respectively. The portions were just ridiculously small . My wife's steak was supposed to come with asparagus but instead came with string beans which she doesn't like . Left restaurant hungry after spending $110 including tip. Not only was the fish and steak barely enough for a small child to eat but even the sides of rice and vegetables were just as minuscule . Im so upset the chef would short change each plate like this . Place wasn't even busy . Total rip off and we will never go to Meritage in the future and advise others to do the same. We live in area and have gone once every year or so for many years. Place really has slipped with exception of waitress who was very friendly and polite.
