Appetizers were very good. Got the eggplant and the Brussel sprouts. Drinks were excellent Entrees- lasagna very good enough to take home, salmon was good, non descript, Cesar salad with chicken - dressing was very lemony and chicken was heavily breaded. Used a gift card which helped.

The eggplant app was amazing. We had the 100 layer lasagna and the linguine and clam dinners. My husband had the lasagna is very choosy on sauce and said it was very delicious. There were probably about 2 dozen small clams in my dish. We will definitely go back again! For dessert we tried the mascarpone cheesecake. As full as we were we ate the whole thing! Delectable!!

The staff were prompt, friendly and helpful. Server came and took our orders and made sure to space the starters from the main course perfectly. For the food, we were not disappointed. Everything came out hot and perfect. Good sized portions. Will definitely visit again.

Reservations were for 6:15. They didn’t have our table ready until 6:45. A half hour late is unacceptable. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited so long. We had somewhere to be after so we had to rush through dinner and couldn’t enjoy drinks with our meal because we already had some and needed to drive so we had our limit waiting. They didn’t comp our drinks or appetizer or anything. They finally sat us next to a table with a child running across the upholstered bench seating that went along the back wall of seating. Running across it in her shoes where I was now supposed to sit. The other location is better all around.

This was a repeat visit for us, so I sort of knew what to expect out of the restaurant, the menu, and the service. It was Mother's Day, and we had a late dinner reservation, so maybe by the time we arrived, they were cooked - ha, pun intended. This experience did not meet my expectations. Our server was fine, nothing special, and the drink I ordered was made perfectly! That was the highlight of the evening... A few notes about the food: - My son ordered the filet tips and they arrived medium-well, almost well-done. They were way overcooked. It's filet, it doesn't need to be blackened on the outside and grey-ish brown on the inside. - My husband ordered the chicken parm with the sauce on the side, and of course it arrived covered in sauce. He requested to have it sent back. - I ordered the salumi and formaggio mix as a meal after having enjoyed some apps, and requested no roasted red peppers. Well, of course I had a huge pile of soggy roasted reds in the middle of the pizza pan they served my food on, so everything else was wet. It was gross. My husband told me to send it back but at that point everyone else had food. - My son also ordered a side of fries that didn't arrive. When a manager came to check on us and we told her about the missing side, she said she'd handle. A few minutes later a side of fries was delivered in a small metal cup. Then a few minutes AFTER that, a huge bowl of fries - called the "side of fries" by the runner - arrived, which we clearly didn't need, but I'm not sure how the size difference was so off for $8 worth of potatoes. All in all it was not a super enjoyable meal, and that was a disappointment. The server, while again nice, was very superficial about her "apology" for the peppers being included on my plate and didn't really seem that invested in making things right. Probably time for us to take a break from Mercato for a bit, and next time we go, pick a less busy night since the quality seems to decline when the volume is higher.

Beautiful restaurant, but food was ridiculously priced for the lack of flavor. It was a nice dinner but will not be going back.
