   Down in a cellar with unfortunate decor, poor tasting greasy food. Service was adequate, but service charge automatic. So many better places in Edgware Road.

   Enjoyed a lovely evening here with friends. There's an astonishing variety of Malaysian food here, and well-priced as well. Ordered so much and the portions were generous enough that I had to bring home the leftovers - the service staff was most obliging. Shame that they were frequently confused by our requests, such as suitable chilli for the soto soup, and for all the dishes to come at one go (Malaysian style).

   We find this place a bit hit and miss, was here 2 weeks ago on a busy Friday evening and the tom yum soup was great and flavoursome. We came back on a not so busy Saturday evening and the same soup was lacklustre and lacking ingredients. I think we'll give them the benefit of doubt and go back one final time to see what standard to accept.

   We wouldn't have known about Melur without the OpenTable site as it is down a flight of stairs in the basement. Very busy but waiters covered all the tables efficiently. Good choice of Malaysian food, although we did not get to try a lot of the selection that was on the menu. The satay sticks were rather small portions. The typical Malaysian dessert Air Batu kacang wasa huge portion, but would have been much better if this had finer ice shavings.

   I went here last week with a work colleague. Note that Melur is a bring your own alcohol restaurant though this is not obvious on Top Table and we had ordered food before we realised the error at which point we did not bother to go in search of a bottle of wine. Food here is nice, well flavoured but the restaurant itself is downstairs and relatively basic. Excellent value and good for a group of friends wanting a good value night out where you can bring our own wine. Worth a try.

   Plumbed new depths of mediocrity. Chicken sooo dry, Beef very chewy and fatty, Lamb reasonable. starters were about the only decent items. Service painfully slow, getting the bill even slower. Staff not particularly attentive or welcoming,

   They do not serve any alcohol. Food was good, non-alcoholic cocktails were nice and the staff were friendly enough even though they didn't have a lot of English.

    We went for a family dinner on saturday, and was very impressed with the outstanding service this restaurant provided. And this is not the first time we went in for dinner to this restaurant. They were very helpful, and looked after our orders so well including suggestions where needed. Will definitely recommend.....
