   I had dinner at Melo’s Italian Table in Walnut Creek recently, and overall, it was a great experience. The place has a nice, modern vibe and it’s clean, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re out with friends, on a date or just want a relaxed solo dinner. I ordered their fettuccine Alfredo and fig jam pizza and both were seriously some of the best I’ve had in a while with its crispy edges, soft in the middle, and packed with flavor. I also tried the shishito peppers and focaccia bread, which was rich and comforting without feeling too heavy. You can tell the kitchen puts care into their dishes. Service was solid too, staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s definitely the kind of spot I’d go back to, maybe even make it a regular thing. If you’re into Italian food with a slightly elevated twist, Melo’s is worth checking out.

   Great attention was paid to our table of six people. Our waitress was super accommodating and very pleasant. Pizzas are outstanding as well as the salads!

   We had a great dinner at Melo's Italian Table. The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambience was lovely. Definitely will go back again.

   I will start with high praise on their salmon… better than Massimo’s… where we ate 3 days before. However, the asparagus were way overcooked, even for someone that likes softer vegetables. We shared a Burrata Margherita square pizza for an appetizer. Asked for it crispy but it was just borderline crispy on a some edges. Waiter suggested double cutting so that the pieces were smaller— great suggestion. Dessert options are limited so we passed. Their traditional hand tossed pizza is still their star attraction imo. Their pasta dishes were just okay but we only had one at our table. Overall, good enough for a return visit.
