Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great bottomless prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers.

Best French toast I’ve had hands down. The brunch is a fixed price with a simple menu and a very good deal in my opinion. Food is delicious and service is great.

The concept is copying the Paris. But the steak quality and quantity is way less than expected. We don’t even want to share the pictures to mistakenly lead our friends to repeat our adventure here. This is far less than French level, how can you survive in Texas?! Disappointed. The only good is the sauce taste and service is kind.

Medium Rare was honestly better than I expected. Our waiter was AWESOME wish I remembered his name. Bottomless Mimosas is what made me make the reservations. TikTok is such a wonderful place so SHOUTOUT to TikTok and all the recommendations didn't disappoint. Try the Cranberry Mimosa SOOOOOO GoodT.

The food was horrible. The bread was hard as a rock, the salad tasted sour and the steak was small. Definitely not worth $40.

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning My family took me to Medium Rare in Houston for Mother’s Day. None of us had been before, and sadly, we were all very disappointed. We were seated quickly, and our waitress (CeCe) took our drink orders and brought out bread—but the butter was rock hard and no knife was given. We asked for one, but finished the bread before she finally returned with steak knives. We saw the table next to us struggling with the same thing—they were using pocket knives! After a long wait, I asked if our salads were coming before the main course. They came shortly after and were very good, but the extra dressing we asked for never showed up. By the time the main course arrived, our drinks were empty and still hadn’t been refilled. The steak was tasty but expensive for the portion size. After finishing our food, we waited about 35 minutes without seeing our server. We finally flagged down another waiter to ask for more drinks—and that’s when we found out we were supposed to get a second helping of steak and frites. No one had told us. The waiter brought the second serving, but it was clear the staff wasn’t informing guests. The table next to us had already paid and ended up getting their second serving to-go after overhearing us. We eventually asked for the manager. He told us CeCe had left and he didn’t know why. We shared our experience, and he offered us dessert, which we declined. We weren’t looking for anything free—just wanted to let him know why we wouldn’t be returning. Before leaving, we visited the restroom and were shocked by how dirty the floors were—food and trash everywhere. The bathrooms didn’t even have paper towels. The food was decent, but the poor service, lack of communication, and unclean environment were unacceptable—especially at the price point. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
