Brunch was delicious.
We really enjoyed our server. She was fun and charming. We celebrated a birthday brunch on the patio and this was a perfect spot.
This was our first experience eating here, going only by the reviews and no personal reference. The menus is limited, But we enjoyed it all, starting with the appetizers to the main courses, followed by an awesome dessert. The wine choices were limited, but I really enjoyed the recommendation from their knowledgeable bartender.
We reserved a table outside and sat at a great spot. We were really excited about the menu. We don’t eat red meat so we sometimes struggle to find something. The potato leek soup and cauliflower were amazing. The bartender did a really good job on the cocktails. There was an outdoor fireplace and it helped created a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
The food was spectacular, the service is friendly, warm, and anticipatory. But man, that hot sauce!!! ... oh and banana cheesecake... and pimento cheese... how bout that fried chicken too? Really, every bit was dreamy.
It was a very good place to get dinner. The pork loins were good!
Love this place! On my list of favorites, in the top 5! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, very clean and overall enjoyable dining experience every time we go.
The food was delicious, will be back again.
Great food and friendly staff! Love the locally sourced food and seasonal menu!
Lovely hidden gem! Would recommend the pork belly biscuits!
Delicious, interesting food served in a cozy, inviting setting. Especially appreciated the fast and accommodating hospitality!
Quiet lunch on the patio. Felt guilty we had the deck to ourselves due to construction work on Bitters. Don’t let that stop you from visiting.
Tried the green salad with roasted butternut squash, cotijo cheese, and poppyseed dressing. Topping it with grilled shrimp made a delicious and satisfying meal. My partner went with the tried and true burger enjoying it as much as ever.
Love this place and its special people. Nods and applause to PJ, Lindsey, and Ashley!
First time visiting the Meadow. It’s a hidden gem. The outdoor patio was perfect, waitstaff very attentive and the food was excellent. We had the Brussels sprouts and jar of pickles to start. Both came out in short order and were very tasty. My son had shrimp and grits, the serving was generous, the flavor and freshness great. I enjoyed the monkfish, it’s not commonly seen in menus but I took the chance and it was prepared perfectly. If you are an avid wine drinker you will not find many of the standards you would expect at a restaurant with the caliber food the Meadow serves. The offerings are all a little obscure or unknown that doesn’t necessarily dictate the quality of the wine however $60 is $60 and I want to have some comfort knowing that my money is well spent. I chose based on my knowledge of the region and was a little disappointed. If you’re not a picky wine drinker you won’t have an issue. With that said I highly recommend the Meadow, it was a great overall experience.
The fried chicken special was delicious and we look forward to returning. A+ all around!
Extremely nice, quaint place to have a nice date
Wonderfully satisfying food. Good cocktails. Attentive service.
We had their restaurant week brunch and were super happy. Food was delicious! Very cute restaurant with great COVID precautions in place. We will be back!
Live the Staff. Antonio the Manager is a genuine team player for his Staff!!! One our faves to go to! ✨
Great little hidden find in Hollywood Park, with excellent food and cocktails. We also had great service and the restaurant is nicely spaced with both indoor and outdoor seating.
We love going to Meadow. It has a very unique menu and Chef PJ really puts a delicious twist on comfort food.
Love coming to Meadow. The food is always fantastic and the service is always wonderful.
Food was very good, service was great. Softening the lighting would be very nice.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Although tucked away in an unusual location, to me this is one of its charms. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and on good weather days or nights it's the perfect place to enjoy a meal out. The food has always been exceptional, but their weekend Brunch is the best in the city in my opinion. Delicious biscuits and grits, perfectly cooked eggs, and some ingenious cocktails are just a few of the highlights. Ally (sp?) is a delightful, knowledgeable server. Her recommendations are stellar, as is her timing. This is a place not to be missed!
Literally a hidden gem on the backside of The Alley on Bitters (where Tre Enoteca was, once upon a time). Everything on the menu looked wonderful, but we chose the restaurant week brunch menu to try a bit of everything, and everything was phenomenal- so much so, that we regret not visiting sooner, but we vow to return frequently! If you haven’t checked it out, you should.
For Covid concerns, patrons and staff all wore masks and tables were sufficiently spaced.
Excellent food and attentive service as usual.
The food was amazing and the service was excellent! I’ve been here for brunch several times, but never dinner...I will definitely be back!
Great food, great service. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Everything about Jason’s new restaurant is outstanding. Go hungry because the portions are large. He has a good wine selection as well. Can’t wait to dine outside there in the Spring.
Food was excellent. It was very busy. Their brunch is one of the best in the city.
Double date with our good friends. This is our favorite restaurant to frequent. The flavor of the food never fails to surprise me.
Compliments to the Chef.
Love the food. The service is outstanding. Small and quant, you couldn't ask for a better place to dine.
Great food and staff very engaging. Highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised! Brunch was amazing and the service was great!
Amazing food, excellent drinks, friendly staff.
The food was incredible and customer service was exceptional! We will definitely be back.
Best place in the area with exceptional food and drinks
one of the best hidden gems in San Antonio - amazing hidden oasis patio with fire pit, as well as some of the best pizza, fried chicken and old fashioneds in town! staff is always top notch!
Meadow never disappoints. We had salad, shrimp and grits, ribeye, and bokchoy. All good as always. Meadow also does a wonderful job with Covid safety protocols so makes for a relaxed enjoyable evening.
The food was proper comfort food and good tasting. Shrimp and grits, fried chicken sandwich, and squash soup. Great neighborhood place.
The food is amazing! Service fantastic. Definitely going back. Might be my new favorite place for dinner.
