Our dinner of a blackened salmon salad and tuna poke stack was good. We did have to ask for another server to check on our tuna poke stack bc the salad came out without the tuna.

No complaints about the food; we all enjoyed our meals. The interior is undergoing a reno, so the seating is on the patio/veranda which was nice even on a drizzly day. The only downside was a couple of yellow jackets that really seemed to enjoy our company and a long walk to the restroom (2 of our party have mobility issues). The service was inconsistent. They brought out the 2 desserts with candles I had quietly arranged prior to sitting down. I also requested 3 small plates. No plates, no silverware. Even the yellow jackets weren’t impressed. Our server barely stopped by, and the hostess clearly didn’t enjoy going beyond the bare minimum of interacting with me or going beyond her in-role behavior. Would I go back? Yes. The menu is diverse, the food is great, and the atmosphere is chill. I’m just disappointed that with all that going for it, the staff is subpar.

McKenzie’s, even during reconstruction of significant parts of the restaurant, served delicious, well-presented food at reasonable prices. A large beet salad with grilled chicken was a hearty meal. As was short rib beef stroganoff. Cinnamon apple egg rolls was a stand out dessert.

McKenzies is one of our favorite meeting places with friends who live near there. It’s always been a great experience regarding the service, food & atmosphere. We didn’t realize they were undergoing major renovations, but that didn’t alter our experience at all… Fun time with friends & delicious food… thank you!!

McKenzies is consistently good. The lettuce wraps we ordered were extremely messy to eat (I think the lettuce pieces could’ve been bigger, and perhaps the chicken could’ve been diced smaller or shredded to help with that) But service was very good and it was tasty . Glad to have it in our neighborhood!

Wanted an outside table in the back but once again placed in the front with the traffic noise of route 30. Very disappointed. Food and service outstanding!
