   Service was slow the entire visit. We ordered three meals. Chefs special was good as was our steak. The seafood Alfredo however was bland and the creamy sauce was not creamy at all but watery instead.

   We really enjoy McCormick & Schmick's. They are great to work with, especially Paige for the private dining.. She is awesome to work with...

   The food was just “okay”. Apps were good - shrimp, calamari, crab cakes. Starters were not good - chopped salad was just shredded lettuce - very dry - no tomatoes and couldn’t taste any dressing; two people had clam chowder and it wasn’t hot. Entrees were fine.

   Our service couldn’t have been better. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Sunday night. The food although good was not great. It felt like maybe the quality has gone down. My dish chilean Sea-bass said it was served with carrots and sautéed spinach. It came with  broccoli rob and what seemed to be poorly done instant mashed potatoes. Salad was great. One walnut mixed greens and one Caesar. Husband’s steak was good and he was alright with his smashed skin on potatoes. I did get a birthday dessert with a candle which was super nice. We took other deserts to go. The chocolate bag and upside down walnut apples pie. I hope the restaurant is doing well thru the week. We haven’t been here for a long time but it used to be one of our favorite places.

   Everything tasted amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster mashed potatoes are delicious. Even the vegetables were cooked perfectly. All food was seasoned well. I took home the pineapple upside down cake; perfect. Amazing meal all around!

   Amazingly slow. Walked in and waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. Was told there was 1 bartender and 1 waitress. It’s Administrative Professionals Day. We were there over 2 hrs. A poor 1st impression for 3 of the 4 attendees. Pay attention to how the customer orders their food and make sure it’s right before you leave the kitchen. Do better.

   I was pretty disappointed that they did not allow us to order off of the happy hour menu because we weren’t sitting at the bar. In fact, they don’t even have the same menu. We were not expecting to pay such incredibly high prices. Then our wedge was not impressive and did not have much dressing or toppings. It was a lot of bland iceberg lettuce. The clam chowder was pretty good but had some chewy pieces. The server forgot to put our salmon order in so we got our food after the other 4 people had already finished. He did not try to make amends in any way. It was a highly disappointing dining experience.

   We had six in our party for dinner after an IRT matineee performance and were seated around a round table where we could visit and all hear one another. The food was delicious and our waiter was first rate. We also found street parking with no real difficulty. We will be back!

    Ok, everything was outstanding. Service was awesome, one of the drinks was made table side. Food was outstanding!!!! The desert!!!!!! Well it was a chocolate bag of fruit and ice cream. Will definitely return!!! Both our meals were great!
