We had a great experience. Their filet was so tender you could cut with a fork. Crab cake appetizer was incredible. Service was great. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Service was horrific - ordered drinks that never came to the table. Ordered a glass of wine for my dinner they brought an empty glass and never brought the wine. Ate my dinner with what little ice melt water I had in water glass. Then charged me for the wine on the bill. While waiting for the crap show at the table ordered a couple drinks at the bar and the bartender was less than friendly.
Too many other places close by to have a business dinner - no need to have to deal with this type of service.
Great wood service was excellent.

Overall we enjoyed our visit, but my husbands ordered a 18oz NY Strip MW. First he received a 6 oz Filet. Once sent back he received a 13 oz NY Strip Mrare. He sent that back just to have it cooked correctly to MW because we didn't want to wait on a whole new steak. The food was amazing was it was prepared correctly.
We had "Tabby" as a waitress and she was probably the worst waitress we have ever had. She forgot what I ordered to drink. She brought things at different times - we had our 1st courses served separately. Then she was surprised when I asked where my first course was. She was going to serve my shrimp cocktail at the same time she served my steak. She then spilled dessert on my husband's sweater and pants. The manager spoke to us and offered to consider our cleaning bill if we send her the receipt. She was not very sincere with her apology either. We are not sending you a receipt - we can pay for our own cleaning bills but that waitress and manager need to be retrained.
Service (Laney?) was attentive and precise. Food was good, as always.
Enjoyed an excellent meal here for Valentine's Day. It was a bit noisy, but other than that an excellent experience for our first time here. My wife had the lobster and I had the ribeye and both were great. We had a knowledgeable waiter who always checked on us. We will return!!
First, I have been to M&S many times and always have had a great meal. This time I made the mistake of going on Valentines day with my wife. We arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately seated in the back room at a small table, although there were several open tables in the main dining room. Table was a big problem as it was so unstable, several items fell on the ground when we were seated. We sat there for almost 10 minutes before someone asked if we had been waited on. They finally brought water, which spilled on the table due to the table moving again. After this happened one more time, I asked to be seated in the main dining. We were told that that wasn't their area, but could move us to another adjacent table. OK. Better than nothing. They apologized about the table as it was a "temporary" table that was brought in due to the high demand.
Then we went to order off the menu, which I love seafood. However, my wife does not like seafood and is allergic to beef. No problem, right? They always have one chicken dinner. Except tonight. No chicken. We were told that because it was so busy they decided to consolidate the menu to make it easy on the kitchen. At this point, I asked for the manager. Really? You consolidate the menu and get rid of the one chicken dish on the menu? At this point, attitudes changed and they went out of their way to get my wife taken care of and the service and food was good.
Was just the worst greeting into a restaurant that I have experienced in a very long time. Not what I expect from M&S, and I know they can do better.
I realize with it being Valentine's day, that could affect this but we waited so long for our food. Around 45 minutes for our meal. It was also very cold where we were seated, so the food got cold very quickly.
Steak was good but vegetables were little to be desired. Very slow service.
Cordial staff. Formal but relaxed atmosphere. Scrumptious food.
Did ask for a table near by the window. They couldn't have put us at one any further away.
Do not like special menus or was Valentines Day. I will check next time.
The only real issue I had was with a hostess. Our server was very nice. When he brought us our wedge salads, one was noticeably better prepared than the other. My wife’s salad had hardly any dressing and bacon bits. So we flagged down a hostess and told her our observation. She fairly indignantly looked over the salad and proceeded to educate us on how salads with different types of dressing will look differently. My wife said all she wanted was more dressing and bacon bits. The hostess quickly picked up the salad and went to the kitchen. When she came back she sat the salad down and just went on her way. It had more dressing and no bacon! Our server came back and was kind enough to bring us more bacon for the salad, but the experience was fairly tainted by then.
We knew it would be busy as it was Valentine’s Day. That really wasn’t an issue. I ordered my steak very well done. The server was a bit short with me when I asked her if it was well done. She assured me it was. It was rare. Very, very rare. So while the rest of our party and I waited for my meal. It arrived after everyone else was finished. So, unfortunately not the best experience.
Food was great and the service was on point. Dinner was perfect!
Valentine’s Day dinner.
M&S is one of my family's favorite places, especially for special occasions. The ambiance is great. The food is generally outstanding, though a little pricey.
We've eaten there in the past, and it was excellent. This year, we went for Valentine's Day. There was a special menu with limited items. While our entrees were very good, the sides of roasted veggie and roasted potatoes were crunchy and nearly cold. Those side were very disappointing. Not sure we would recommend for Valentine's Day. Stick to the regular menu.
The food and service were great. Looking forward to our next visit.
Very friendly staff but a little slow with the service. Food was good but not as good as other McCormick & Schmicks that we’ve been to.
Great food, fairly priced, tasteful cocktails. Service was a little slow on an empty night, but nothing to be upset about.
We had an excellent pre-Valentines meal. The half price bottle of wine was an unexpected value as well.

The food was very good and they did a fabulous job accommodating 2 extra people that joined in at the last minute.
Our server was exceptional with the exception of the terrible smell of cigarette odor on her clothes and breath. It really took away from her great service, good food and pleasant personality.
I would go back but hope they give this some consideration.

We had the filet and lobster tails. The steak and tails were melt in your mouth tender. Very good!!!!!!
Very bad. Waited 1:45 min, no dinner, had to cancel and leave to attend Indianapolis sympathy for which we had tickets.
It was our anniversary and my fiancé loves oysters, he LOVED them. The food was so good, our server was the only thing that was disappointing. Asked if we wanted bread, never came back with it. Took her a very long time to come back to our table every time, and the dinning room wasn’t packed. Maybe five tables total. We saw the other servers at their table more than we saw ours. We were going to get dessert but it took her fifteen minutes to go retrieve the menus and then she didn’t come back for twenty after that, so we decided against dessert because we didn’t want to wait for ever for the dessert and then wait forever for the check. All in all we loved our experience, aside from the service. We will most likely be back
