Service was bad. Shared no insight on the menu and felt rushed. Chose this restaurant for the last dinner before restaurants closed and it was not a good experience.
3 out of the steaks came out overcooked. I mentioned it to the waitress and she didn't really care much.
The service, food and overall dining experience was just exceptional and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Our waiter was top notch!!
Very good food, with fast and friendly customer service
Did the NY steak 🥩 and lobster tail special which was great, steak cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes 🥔 as a side also paired well. Restaurant did a great job of social distancing guidelines.
The food was great as usual, and our waiter was amazing!
I go to McCormicks often, but made a reservation to take advantage of the Thursday steak and lobster special. Both were DELICIOUS!! Each was perfectly cooked. I ordered mussels as an appetizer which were also wonderful. The restaurant was quite busy but they did a great job of keeping tables and chairs 6 feet apart which was comforting. Geoff was our bartender and though it was very busy for him as the only bartender, he took time to make my husband a special cocktail!
We went here for our anniversary and it was an excellent experience. They gave us personalized menus citing our specific anniversary. The service was great, friendly and the recommendations were perfect for us. The setting was very nice and the entire experience was one that we would want to duplicate every time we come back - which we will!
Food was great !! Had Alaskan king crab legs. Partner had scallops. It was our Anniversary. Waiter was not very attentive to our table never acknowledged the occasion. Not good at least not the kind of service I would expect for the prices we paid.
Decent. Suggestions: Clean and dust the art work and light fixtures in the booths. Oyster preparation needs help. The oysters could be loosened from the shell which is also more pleasant than the customer having to rip out parts to enjoy the delicacy.
Happy with the service and quality of food
It was a great experience for my Lady and I! She has already asked when can we go back!! Lol
Our server was rarely at our table, and when she was, She neglected to ask us if we needed anything else and never cleared any of our plates between courses. We would have gladly had more drinks and stayed for dessert had the service been better. (Which it usually is)
Sad to see so few diners at noon on a Friday. Covid spacing was not an issue and the staff were very careful to take precautions. The food was excellent as was the service. They had several lower cost lunch options with smaller portions. We have never been disappointed with the food choices, food quality or service at this restaurant. We highly recommend it.
We always enjoy our meal at McCormick & Schmick's. The food is fabulous and we can always find something gluten free for my husband to eat.
Good food and service. We would definitely return.
Always a quality place to meet friends and family. Great day for Veterans as well.
Although we could only stay long enough for an appetizer, I wanted to thank you again for the very generous Veteran's Day discount, as it was very much appreciated, especially during this pandemic!!
Service was very unwelcoming. He said there were no crackers for the soup
Anniversary dinner. It was very nice with good ambiance considering it was not very full due to the pandemic.
We were quickly seated, even though we were 1/2 hour early for our reservation. That’s the only compliment I can pay them in this review. After 15 minutes there was no waitress , and I had to go find one. My friend and I ordered cocktails and they were watery. I got the fish and chips and they were way too salty and overdone. I have gotten far better fish and chips in bars in Wisconsin for a lot less, than I paid for here. Overall service was slow and it took almost 20 minutes for our drink orders and 20 minutes for refills. The manager did give us credit for some of our drinks. Overall an unsatisfactory dining experience and I will not be back.
The lobster bisque was salty. The seafood pasta was bland. We celebrated a birthday and was hoping for a complimentary dessert. Instead we got a menu which we don't need. Ww don't think we'll be back
It would be great to have a few other non seafood options on the happy hour menu - if even sides like Brussel sprouts or a bruschetta, etc.
Not a good experience. Went there for a birthday, which my partner informed the server, which resulted in a "is it somebody's anniversary? no and shifting to say they do not serve Birthday drinks because of Covid. ok.
We ordered the crab cake stuffed flounder 3 course meal Sunday special. with added lobster tail.
The drinks were fine and salad was good. after using the restroom I return to a gentleman loudly and basically continuously sneezing, coughing, and clearing his throat for a solid 10-15 min. one seated table away from us. (1 booth in between) Not their fault - but perhaps say something IDK or move us?
Got the rest To-Go. ok. They forgot the lobster tail. bummer.
Green beans were good. yay. Potatoes seemed instant. gross. Flounder Cake was just gross. flavorless and mushy. Yuck.
Didn't bother calling because I will never return. For the prices they charge you can get actually good food at any number places. So disappointing.
Bluepoints, fried calamari and scallops were all delicious.
The best place to go for a celebration lunch or birthday. We always appreciate the attention to detail.
Nice. Seemed like the menu was smaller than normal. Likely due to virus impact. Nice evening very good service.
NY Strip was disappointing. First bite gristle and fat. Should have been trimmed better before cooking.
Seafood requires a very strong culinary skill to do well. McCormicks does that. The lobster was very good and the drinks well made. The calamari was outstanding!! If you want the most tender calamari you can get, go here. I used to think Capitol Grille had the best, but I am no longer sure. My wife and daughter shared the filet and the crab cakes. I had oysters as an additional appetizer. They were good. The cheesecake was delicious for desert.
My fiancé & I were celebrating a date night that he won from a fun bet we made pertaining to the early snow fall. The waiter was not impressed w our humor & did not provide a very fun environment that we had hoped for.
The food quality was average at best. The fish was wet & Luke warm with a disappointing ‘crab cake filling’ on it with dried out mashed potatoes & warm green beans. My fiancé’s steak was also like warm & the side of lobster mashed potatoes was nothing more than dry mashed potatoes w lobster bisque soup poured on it. Again the good was disappointing for the cost & quality. The service started out ok but over time became slower & worse throughout the time there. I was so excited to take my fiancé here as it used to be one of my favorites.
Our party of four enjoyed excellent service and delicious food. Our server, Lois, was friendly and attentive; she made our dining experience very pleasant.
Same night availability private dining
Wait staff very attentive
Food was excellent
Recommend king crab legs
Service was exceptional and food exquisite and well spaced out tables. We felt very safe and enjoyed a lovely evening out.
Good food and service. The Shrimp Scampi had a nice looking presentation and was delicious. Brandy Manhattan was very good. The mostbimportant thing was the COVID precautions seemed in place: well spaced, masks and gloves worn. Felt safe.
Excellent food and service !
Tables were too close together. Didn’t feel safe.
There were four of us for Sunday dinner, celebrating three birthdays and an anniversary. The drinks were very good, the appetizers amazing, the dinner spectacular, and dessert was sublime. Our server did an awesome job, we were very happy with her. The ambiance was perfect, low noise level beautiful surroundings.
We sat outside. The outdoor space heater near our table was off so it got cold. The space heaters near other table were being used. Our waitress left us unattended for about 30 minutes at a time while giving all of her attention to other tables. After waiting over half an hour to place my order I was told my choice was sold out. Our crab legs were cold when brought to the table and the salmon was over cooked. The man who delivered our dinner wore a plastic face shield but no mask which is proven to be ineffective (allows germs to spread out the sides and bottom, including onto our food). This was the most disappointing experience we have ever had dining at our favorite restaurant. At this point we don not expect to return to the restaurant in the near future. Service and food were not the standard we have come to expect from this restaurant.
Beautiful day for outdoor seating. Server was outstanding. Savored the food.
