Great food as I remembered
Excellent service. Thank you so very much!!
Love this restaurant BUT I ordered the mussels and the sauce tasted like white wine had been poured on top just before serving - not a great taste but LOVE mussels so down they went. On the other hand, the cheeseburger was and is fabulous. Super portion, tasty, super fries - could not be better. I really like this restaurant but you need to work on the sauce with the mussels. I shouldn't be complaining at all since no one has been anywhere in all these months it was wonderful to get out.
We had a little wait past the time of our reservations but after we were seated the service was good. Our drinks were kept filled and the food was great.
The lady who waited on us was fantastic. My food was delicious! Cocktails were reasonable.
I usually don't write reviews but I wanted Michelle to be noticed by your team. She was an exceptional waitress to me and my friends. Extremely nice and welcoming. Her recommendations were on point and she was very accommodating towards our needs. Michelle Thank you for being so kind!!
Trying to give grace as Covid had placed closed for 4 weeks but our experience was awful. Had reservations, didn’t get seated until 15 minutes after our time. Places in a booth in the bar that seemed great at first (away from other diners) but ended up being a black hole of service even though servers passed by. One older server was wildly coughing though her mask when delivering food. Our server, while very kind, was not focused on us. There was lipstick on my glass and didn’t have anyone able to replace it until our dinners were served. We all ordered three medium steaks Waitress said they would be sided with asparagus but all came with green beans. All where well done, not medium. Asked for the asparagus they were supposed to come with and they brought one serving back that was raw with grill marks. Service was painfully slow because we weren’t in the main dining area. One waitress must have been taking her mask off in back because she would replace it when she came out the service doors. Waiting area was too close together and people were on top of each other. They didn’t enforce mask mandate when a customer came in without a mask. This was supposed to be a special dinner out for our son to celebrate and we didn’t want to make any fusses to make him feel uncomfortable. But this was the biggest waste of $200. I would have been better off throwing $200 in the garbage and gotten McDonalds. I thought this place was supposed to be high class but it was no better than Applebee’s. Avoid because they are clearly struggling. Maybe we didn’t look like we had money? Is that why we were treated like garbage?
Overall great job. The scallop dish was incredible and the clam chowder is always delicious!
There were two of us dining. One of our desserts had a long hair in it. We notified the waitress and she offered us a new one which we declined and she did remove the one dessert from our bill. We were there from 5-6:30 pm, which is happy hour for specials. After leaving I had reviewed the tab only to notice that our four cocktails were billed at regular price. We have dined here dozens of times and have always been very satisfied so this last visit was disappointing.
Missed our restaurants over the past year and this was a good start to get back in the habit. My wife has grilled salmon with vegetables and potatoes and I had crab cakes. Both meals were prepared excellently, service was good. Very very customers, probably due to weather. Covid concerns were minimal.
Thank you all so much for a great business lunch experience with and of my clients on Thursday. Bravo!
I will be back!
Our waitress was amazing, she was very helpful and was assertive but not over bearing when asking if we needed anything. She also gave us her honest opinion on questions we had about the menu. I ordered a filet and crab legs, the filet was cooked perfect and was delicious. The crab legs I received the ends where a bit cold but it was no problem they took them back and brought me out 2 fresh warm ones and it was by far some of the best crab legs I’ve had. The food was excellent and if you haven’t tried McCormick & Schmicks you need to !
Great place for a nice seafood dinner with a low lighting quality and excellent service.
We love McCormick and schmick. This is just what we needed given our overwhelming lockdown fatigue. It was great to celebrate my husband’s birthday with family!! People at a nearby table stopped by (at a distance) on their way out to wish him a happy birthday. They heard us singing to him earlier!
Service was bad. Shared no insight on the menu and felt rushed. Chose this restaurant for the last dinner before restaurants closed and it was not a good experience.
3 out of the steaks came out overcooked. I mentioned it to the waitress and she didn't really care much.
The service, food and overall dining experience was just exceptional and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Our waiter was top notch!!
Very good food, with fast and friendly customer service
Did the NY steak 🥩 and lobster tail special which was great, steak cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes 🥔 as a side also paired well. Restaurant did a great job of social distancing guidelines.
The food was great as usual, and our waiter was amazing!
Love McCormicks
I go to McCormicks often, but made a reservation to take advantage of the Thursday steak and lobster special. Both were DELICIOUS!! Each was perfectly cooked. I ordered mussels as an appetizer which were also wonderful. The restaurant was quite busy but they did a great job of keeping tables and chairs 6 feet apart which was comforting. Geoff was our bartender and though it was very busy for him as the only bartender, he took time to make my husband a special cocktail!
We went here for our anniversary and it was an excellent experience. They gave us personalized menus citing our specific anniversary. The service was great, friendly and the recommendations were perfect for us. The setting was very nice and the entire experience was one that we would want to duplicate every time we come back - which we will!
Food was great !! Had Alaskan king crab legs. Partner had scallops. It was our Anniversary. Waiter was not very attentive to our table never acknowledged the occasion. Not good at least not the kind of service I would expect for the prices we paid.
Decent. Suggestions: Clean and dust the art work and light fixtures in the booths. Oyster preparation needs help. The oysters could be loosened from the shell which is also more pleasant than the customer having to rip out parts to enjoy the delicacy.
Happy with the service and quality of food
It was a great experience for my Lady and I! She has already asked when can we go back!! Lol
Our server was rarely at our table, and when she was, She neglected to ask us if we needed anything else and never cleared any of our plates between courses. We would have gladly had more drinks and stayed for dessert had the service been better. (Which it usually is)
Sad to see so few diners at noon on a Friday. Covid spacing was not an issue and the staff were very careful to take precautions. The food was excellent as was the service. They had several lower cost lunch options with smaller portions. We have never been disappointed with the food choices, food quality or service at this restaurant. We highly recommend it.
We always enjoy our meal at McCormick & Schmick's. The food is fabulous and we can always find something gluten free for my husband to eat.
Good food and service. We would definitely return.
Always a quality place to meet friends and family. Great day for Veterans as well.
Although we could only stay long enough for an appetizer, I wanted to thank you again for the very generous Veteran's Day discount, as it was very much appreciated, especially during this pandemic!!
Service was very unwelcoming. He said there were no crackers for the soup
Anniversary dinner. It was very nice with good ambiance considering it was not very full due to the pandemic.
We were quickly seated, even though we were 1/2 hour early for our reservation. That’s the only compliment I can pay them in this review. After 15 minutes there was no waitress , and I had to go find one. My friend and I ordered cocktails and they were watery. I got the fish and chips and they were way too salty and overdone. I have gotten far better fish and chips in bars in Wisconsin for a lot less, than I paid for here. Overall service was slow and it took almost 20 minutes for our drink orders and 20 minutes for refills. The manager did give us credit for some of our drinks. Overall an unsatisfactory dining experience and I will not be back.
The lobster bisque was salty. The seafood pasta was bland. We celebrated a birthday and was hoping for a complimentary dessert. Instead we got a menu which we don't need. Ww don't think we'll be back
It would be great to have a few other non seafood options on the happy hour menu - if even sides like Brussel sprouts or a bruschetta, etc.
Not a good experience. Went there for a birthday, which my partner informed the server, which resulted in a "is it somebody's anniversary? no and shifting to say they do not serve Birthday drinks because of Covid. ok.
We ordered the crab cake stuffed flounder 3 course meal Sunday special. with added lobster tail.
The drinks were fine and salad was good. after using the restroom I return to a gentleman loudly and basically continuously sneezing, coughing, and clearing his throat for a solid 10-15 min. one seated table away from us. (1 booth in between) Not their fault - but perhaps say something IDK or move us?
Got the rest To-Go. ok. They forgot the lobster tail. bummer.
Green beans were good. yay. Potatoes seemed instant. gross. Flounder Cake was just gross. flavorless and mushy. Yuck.
Didn't bother calling because I will never return. For the prices they charge you can get actually good food at any number places. So disappointing.
Bluepoints, fried calamari and scallops were all delicious.
