McCormick & Schmick's Seafood - Chicago (Wacker Dr.)
Book your next event with us
Vegetable portion was small.
Food was excellent!
Everything was wonderful with the exception for the time I wasted on waiting for the Valet who never showed up.
Food was amazing!!! Staff was also great! Would definitely go back again.
Our waiter, Lee was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely meal, very attentive
Our sever was very attentive and mad us all feel welcomed. He did hesitate to make suggestions based on our likes and dislikes. I don't remember his name, but I'm sure our tips reflected our appreciation.
Good food, very nice service, noise levels that allowed easy conversation. Decor looking a little worn and dated, but acceptable.
Birthday celebration. Staff was fabulous!
Gave my bill a birthday discount that was lovely of them.
We are repeat customers! The ambiance, the service & the food, all consistently great! We would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Good food, but not impressed by the service or atmosphere. Overall a good restaurant.
Friday night birthday dinner for four. Our waiter was great. Food was very good. We are all planning a return dinner soon.
Great ambience, great food, impeccable service, and reasonable prices for downtown. I especially liked how the tables are partitioned, making it feel more private. My only small gripe was that they played pop music, which just didn’t match the upscale vibe.
Awesome place! I love it! They provide exceptional food and top shelf drinks!
The Oakbrook location is better than downtown location. Better Ambiance
The food didn’t have any taste. Service was terrible and I would never go here again.
Made last minute reservations for NYE and I can honestly say we were completely satisfied! Everything was amazing, from the wine to the dessert! I had the surf and turf and my boyfriend has the 20oz ribeye. Everything was cooked perfectly, the lobster risotto was flavorful but I could tell it had been pre-made, The upside down apple pie was delicious! Service was good, even though it was a busy evening our server was very attentive. Will definitely go back!
We went for New Years Eve. The seafood and sides were delicious, however the steak was so so. We had a wonderful time and would come back again.
Food was fine. Just ok. Nothing spectacular, especially for $180. Even though we had a reservation we waited an extra hour. Told we were next, we watched them seat someone they knew ahead of us. Server was great, but not worth the money or the wait.
We dined on New Years Eve. It was crowded when we arrived for our reservation and we were asked to wait 15 minutes. The wait was 30 minutes. Despite this wait, which I attribute to a busy New Years Eve, the service was okay. The bar tender completely ignored us after opening a bottle of wine for us to wait for our table. The waiter was attentive but the soup came out at the same time as the entre. Otherwise the service was fine and the waiter was helpful with recommendations from the menu. The food was outstanding. We each had steaks and lobster and both steaks were cooked to the correct temperature and were flavorful and tender. The lobster was delicious. Other than the snafu with the wait time and bringing the soup with the entre, the restaurant was great. I will return the next time I am in Chicago and hopefully the service will be better on a non-holiday night.
The food was delicious!!! Our waiter was excellent!!!
Unfortunately, our meal and service were very disappointing. When served, our dishes were cold and we had to ask that try be reheated. Our server seemed disinterested at best. All in all, a disappointing time.
The waitress was pushy and did not listen. The food was not hot and the butter for the lobster and crab legs was cold and separated. I asked for the crab legs to be split and the waitress could not understand the request.
Great experience and date night. Waiter was terrific and the good was amazing. Really had a good time enjoying each other's company
Excellent service & food in a great setting, would return without doubt
The service wasn't to the standard I'd expect at a restaurant at this price point. It seemed like we were an inconvenience and our server just wanted to get us out the door. Not very impressed!
The food was delicious!
Great family dinner for holiday gift.
I am soooo disappointed.... I found a hair in my food. The waiter brought the manager over and he asked if they could replace the meal. Absolutely not!!!
Never would have expected that at a restaurant of this caliber. The manager didn’t offer to comp the two drinks we had which was over $50 bucks. I think that would have been a great customer service move. For that, I will scratch them off my list of places to go....
The food was absolutely outstanding. We had clam chowder which I will normally never touch and it was so mild that I could have sworn it was potato soup (it did have potato’s in it) The tuna was tender and so fresh. Amazing sauce on the plate. Loved the wasabi mashed potatoes and our streak and lobster was incredible too. Lobster was so sweet.
Could not say enough about how delicious the food was. We had a neat to the side quiet location..very private.
The service was okay. Our food came quickly and was hot and perfect but our waitress spoke so quickly and never stayed long enough for us to finish a response to her questions. It bordered on rude. Hard to keep up with her speedy speaking when she told us about the specials.
She also brought us a glass of wine that was barely cold. Not appealing. We explained when she come back (again she didn’t even listen was abrupt and didn’t strike us as sincere in her half hearted apology) and another gentleman brought us a colder glass of wine which was perfect.
The food was worth the less than stellar service but would be nice if they’d match it all up.
Would go again in a heartbeat for that amazing food! Might not fit in my jeans though. Lol. Worth it!
The service was excellent. I ordered 2 salads and 2 bowls of soup for 5 people. Individual small plates/ cups were provided in very comfortable way. Thank you.
Lovely dining experience on Christmas nights. Felt valued . Despite being thee last group in restaurant, we weren’t rushed or made to feel liked we needed to finish!! Food was great
Shrimp kisses were super yummy. Our server was excellent.
Great risotto and perfectly cooked scallops But four small to medium size is not an order. Six would be. I’d go elsewhere if that’s my desire. Great apple pie/Tatin but expensive. I’ll probably return but its not like the ones I remember in CA.
We go here every year when in Chicago for the holidays- we make our reservations early, not really sure why but this year they gave us a table that was squashed between two large parties of ten people. We were seated about 10 minutes prior to either of these parties arriving. All went well until the other two parties arrived. Being we were a party of two our waiter got busy with the two big tables and we became the neglected table. He seemed overwhelmed by having two big parties at the same time, add us in and it was too much for him. That said the salmon was good and so was my husband’s meal. I do think our side dishes could have been warmer. No refills on water until we were ready to leave. I asked for hot tea in addition to a specialty beverage right away and didn’t get it until the very end, even though I asked several times. The waiter came for our dessert choice but had forgotten we had no dessert menus. We will be back as it has become a tradition and I am hoping this was just an off night for the waiter and staff.
Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere and service. Our first time there for Christmas Eve and we will definitely go again.
Excellent food, waiter, experience for a table of 9!
Dinner was good. Service slow. Very cold inside due to doors opening. Surf and turf was good and good value, asparagus tasted artificially grilled, like with a torch or something. Overall good.
Excellent clam chowda, great service, nice ambiance. Wife’s salmon came unseasoned and bland, they fixed the mistake and took it off the bill. That’s only proper for an upscale establishment. The ahi tuna with sesame and baby bok choi was perfection.
Great service. Delicious food.
TERRIBLE VALET....we waited about 40 minutes!?
