    Our waiter forgot about us several times. The hostess told us a better table to sit at next time we come…which was open…she could have sat us there, but didn’t. The service did not match the quality of food or reputation of the restaurant.

    Started out with the Baked Oysters and then had the 13 oz. Dry Ribbed Rib-eye for our main course.Everythimg was fantastic, including the service we received.Our waiter was delightful.

    Everything was great at first when we arrived there for Mothers Day early dinner around 3:45. Once we sat down a waitress came to us and said they would be right over to us. We then waited for 20-25 minutes without any water or beverages. It wasn’t even busy yet so I wasn’t sure why we couldn’t get at least some waters while we waited. Then the manager came up to us and asked for our beverage order she said the waitress was tied up and would be over soon. After our beverages were dropped off we waited another 10 or so minutes and the manager came back to ask if the waitress had been over. We said no, so she took our soup orders. Right before our soup orders came a different waiter came up and let us know he would be taking over as our server. We ordered our actual food with him. When the food came out it was quick but the food was cold. Mashed potatoes cold, green beans cold, crab cakes cold. At that point I just waited and asked our server to put both of our plates in the microwave to heat up. Pretty ridiculous. I just wished with all the wait we could have at least had hot food. Especially on Mother’s Day when I was hoping I picked a nice restaurant out. Once we finished our meal we paid and before we even got up the waiter came by and snagged the tip off the table. I’ve worked as a waiter for 4 years so I have an idea of how service should be. I was dissatisfied, especially on Mothers Day.

    Mother's Day. Could be beautiful, could be raining, heck, it's Baltimore - it could be snowing. The request - waterfront dining. OK, (see above) water view dining. We've been to McCormick & Schmick's in the past and had a great meal/experience and this trip didn't disappoint! Upon arrival, the hostess was pleasant and when I inquired about an outside table, she was able to accommodate us without question. We had a nice table with an umbrella to shade most of us and with timely delivery of food and drinks it was a great time! Everyone's food came out exactly as expected. I had the crab cake & filet, another had the fish and chips, a pasta dish was also served along with the twin lobster tails. Only complements were had of the food. Price ... well, it's not going to set you back a mortgage payment like another high class restaurant nearby, but we were around $75 a head with appetizers, drinks, main, soup, dessert - a fully complete meal. The overall bill is a good 25% higher than a similar meal a few years ago, but it's expected. Certainly a great special occasion restaurant. Parking was easy and I'm sure we will visit again. In case someone from the restaurant reads this, thank you for maintaining a high standard of food, decorum of your wait staff and superb atmosphere in an unique location.

    We had visits from Leah and the Executive Chef! Erica was our server, and she was such a joy! Attentive, always smiling, and really sweet. This location is tucked in another part of the inner harbor and has a nice separate view of the water. Goregous and clean! Food was delicious! Will be back.

    The birthday dinner I planned at the last minute went off without a hitch. Due to the restaurant having two big banquet parties in the restaurant, the kitchen was slower than usual. We sat inside and it was a nice view from our window of the harbor and their patio dining. The food was average. We ordered a filet mignon that was supposed to be medium well, but came out clearly well done. Still tasty with every bite. The crab cake was good as well. The mash potatoes were great, but this restaurant doesn’t have gravy, so be aware of that when you order. Their shrimp cocktail was excellent and their drinks are great. Service is above average for Baltimore.

    They seated us and then we received no service for 20 minutes. Even though wait staff walked by, they did not acknowledge us. We finally got up and walked out and went to another restaurant where we received prompt service. We were very disappointed.

    First server was terrible, no concentration, seemed pre occupied. My cocktail arrived after 3 requests in middle of my dinner. My wife's first steak came medium well instead medium rare, next steak came all grizzly and inedible, cold potatoes as they were from her first dish, well after I was done eating her steak arrived escorted by head chef and was great, except I was well done eating at this point and they brought out different steak that they up charged us by $12. more on the bill. Are here night before and was like visiting two different restaurants one fabulous one entirely horrible!

    McCormick & Schmidt has been a great restaurant for seafood and steak since it arrived in Baltimore about 25 year ago. it maintains a high level of excellence still today. It also is a go to restaurant for anyone with Tree and/or Peanut allergies. They respect that issue and do everything they can do to keep their items for people with allergies exclusive of those things.

    Really surprised how mediocre the meal was at this location. The restaurant was completely dead on a Friday night. Steaks came out 10mins after the soup and salad was delivered. Beautiful faculty but dining experience was lacking for M&S.

    Awesome experience. We were celebrating a birthday and was running behind schedule. Called restaurant while en route to advise of the late arrival and the hostess happily pushed back reservation by 15 minutes. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, asked if we preferred a window seat or booth and was escorted to our table. We enjoyed all of our entrées, drink and desserts which were: Tito's Cherry Mule, Herb Broth Sea Bass, Cioppino Fettuccine, Dry Rubbed Black Angus Ribeye Steak, Classic Creme Brulee and a complimentary happy birthday dessert that I believe contained vanilla ice cream, a brownie, chocolate syrup and walnuts. Happy Birthday was written with a raspberry glaze. Our server Kristina was exceptional and was the icing on the cake. Will absolutely come back, especially if celebrating a special occasion.

    We were surprised to be served what was considered good wine in an above average establishment in a dripping wet wine glass with both the wine (white) freezing cold. Would be good to rethink in-house wine serving practices.

    Overall the experience was fine, the waitress was nice but there were some periods where we we're wondering when she would come back. The steaks we had were good, the mashed potatoes were good, the shrimp and side potatoe wedges were also good. Good experience overall and we'd come back

    These guys were fabulous about my daughter's food allergies and made her birthday celebration there extra special. The manager Lee was especially helpful along with the waiter! Would definitely recommend.
