Fantastic! Food, service and atmosphere. Really enjoyed ourselves
I know these times represent a challenge for restaurants and nobody wants a bad review. I’m very conscious of that~ however I have to point out how disappointed I was to arrive at this full price restaurant and be told at 6:00 pm they were out of all filet and the pork chop. A total of 5 entrees.
Our food was fantastic but our waitress, Latisha, was absolutely phenomenal. She gave us a written list of things to do while in the city, suggested the perfect bottle of wine, and the meals we ordered were suggested by her. 10/10 experience and food!
Restaurant week menu was excellent!!
Stuffed salmon an coconut shrimp were amazing!!
The Kobe Beef Hamburger was very good and would recommend this if going to McCormick & Schmick's as they're known for Seafood. If the weather is nice and looking for a nice outdoor dining experience I highly recommend this place as they have a beautiful patio that faces the water. Another plus is the parking lot at Pier 6 is free as they give a 12 hour validation sticker for the lot across the street from the restaurant. Great place for seafood in Baltimore that has a perfect view of the city.
Food was amazing. The staff was friendly. View was beatutiful
Hands down best dining experience. Food and Service was top notch. 5 Stars. Definitely be back again.
I believe this is one of the worst meals our group has had in a very long time. We understand that staff is hard to find (in fact, we tried to go a different day, but they couldn't accommodate us). So we aren't complaining (too much) about our waiter. He was certainly friendly enough. But perhaps he was just promoted from busboy? He never came by to check on us, refill water, drinks, etc. He told us the dessert choices and said he'd give us a few minutes to think about it. Twenty minutes later, we flagged him down for our check so we could just leave. As for the food - disappointing would be a mild description. All of us have been to M&S before, so we were expecting the same quality. This is a chain, and there are standards. But they didn't even come close. First, of the five dishes, four were cold, lukewarm at best. The only reason the fifth was okay was because it was the steamed mussels, which came with a bowl over them to trap the steam. One of us had fish and chips - portion was good, worth the money, given the location. But cold. And no one wants cold fries. Another person got the rockfish, broiled plain. Cold, small portion even given that rockfish is small. Dish #3 was the special stuffed salmon. Cold, tasted okay, but not worth the price. And dish number four...tuna was not even edible. The person who ordered it knows that chefs don't like to cook tuna well done. But due to health issues, it had to be cooked through. We've had well done tuna before, trust me. This was bone dry, shoe leather texture. Unappetizing to the eye and the taste buds. The sticky rice was cold - I tried it and even I wouldn't eat it. And I'm pretty forgiving. To us, it seemed as if the food sat in the window waiting for pickup for a long time. And to be fair, friends of ours were seated just before us, and they were happy with their meal. But everyone's experience is personal and basically, ours was awful. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone for anything.
Food was great but, the appetizer small in portions. The out door ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff was knowledgeable and the waitress Amber made great recommendations.
Had the Bronzed Rockfish and the Twin North Atlantic Lobster Tails. Both were excellent!!
The lobster tails came with lobster bisque mashed potatoes. We shared the hearts of romaine, had a couple of martinis, and the desert was the Upside Down Candied Walnut Apple Pie. Yes, is was fabulous!…..especially with the cinnamon ice cream! A wonderful meal. Our server Rebecca was the best! WE SHALL RETURN!!
Great dinner especially the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon. Love the 🦞 which was perfectly cooked. We did not have desserts
The bread and the mussels were the only good things we had and they both took a while to come out. Both entrees were cold when they came out and the lobster was very chewy. Service was great but not much you can do when the kitchen is having an off night.
The quality of the food has decreased substantially since the last time we visited. The OPEN BLUE COBIA and the HERB BROTH SEA BASS tasted frozen. Blue Cobia was hard and chewy as it was absolutely disgusting. I told the waitress and she said "Oh sorry". The vegetables tasted canned. They have also increased their prices and the food is not worth it. I do not recommend this restaurant. You can find better food in the neighborhood.
Service was great and atmosphere, enjoyed my time there. food was alright as well most items are on the lunch menu sadly.
Our waitress was absolutely wonderful!!!! Extremely pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. I’d go back just for the service alone even if the food wasn’t great........the food was excellent by the way.
Today was wonderful and our server Bernie made it so special. He recommended an entree that was delicious.
The food and Bernie made the day a great one.
Service is sooooooo slow. Food is deliciously but not worth the wait as the restaurant was not even very busy and we waited almost an hour for basic food.
This dining experience was the low part of our weekend trip. We were totally disappointed. Best part was they serve a good drink even though we only had one. Service was very slow. My husband ordered a steak medium rare and got the wrong cut of stead and well done. We had waited so long for it that he did not want to send it back. I got the shrimp scampi and there was nothing special about the shrimp in this dish. I could have done the same quality by sprucing up the Food Lion shrimp that I buy sometimes to go into dishes. Everything was lukewarm at best and that is not a good thing with pasta or anything for that matter. Our server asked if everything was okay and I told her that was the best I could say, "okay." A few minutes later the manager came over and offered free dessert which we did not take him up on. We just wanted to get out and put this meal out of our thoughts. I told him that we knew it was hard to get anyone to work these days and he said that wasn't an excuse for bad service or food and we do agree with him. On the way home we stopped on Sunday at a Bone Fish Grill and were told there would be a 30 minute wait because they only had 2 servers. We waited and the service and food were great. More than half of their tables were empty on purpose. They should not take more reservations than they can handle as it makes for a bad experience for everyone. We told the manager that we were not looking for anything and hoped that our complaint would help someone following us in the future. A totally bad experience.
Came here for my birthday and was disappointed. Ordered a cocktail and didn't recive it until after the appetizers arrived. I was celebrating my birthday so obviously I'm going to order a few drinks. And the server made me and my husband feel uncomfortable by making comments by saying, "are you sure, they're stacking up?" I don't understand why the server would deter us from spending more money. Didn't feel welcomed, so my husband and I decided to leave. I will not be returning. I do not recommend going here if your trying to have a good time.
Service was outstanding, food was amazing and came out really quick. The drinks were perfect, too! Overall an incredible experience!
We went on a Friday for an 8:30pm reservation and arrived 15 minute early. We were served drinks right away, and they took our order. We left after not being served bread nor our meals an hour later, but people around us were served.
It was amazing. Everyone down to the cleaning staff were so nice and helpful. The food was so fresh
The waiter was nice. He kept my drink refill, which is important to me. We ordered the oyster Rockerfella, and shrimp kisses to start. The oyster Rockerfella was under cooked and we didn’t finish the last of a four count. The shrimp kisses was delicious but they’ve scaled back the portion. The main courses ordered was a put together salmon fettuccine, because no pasta dishes are available during dinner besides shrimp scampi, and a crab cake. Neither dish was anything to write home about. The years haven’t been good to this restaurant. The decor is starting to wear. Carpet is dingy and dirty. The tables didn’t have place mats. There was no candle in the center, nothing to make the table desirable to look at. It was bland! This restaurant needs a pick me up from top to bottom.
1st time at the restaurant, it was worth the wait..
Very good server but good a little pricy. It was good but not sure worth what they charge
Food and price was far off
We did the happy hour and dinner the food was amazing really loved it!
Celebrated our 30th anniversary. We had an early reservation. Very nice atmosphere and view. Great food and service. We had a memorable experience. Warning - Not many folks wore masks. A few customers did but not staff. If you’re not vaccinated, they do have nice seating outside.
A great dining experience
Great fresh seafood and steak. Cooked to perfection.
Waitress forgot our app but did us a favor because we were full after dinner anyway.
Service was extremely slow and not even crowded. Restaurant was freezing took 3 tables complaining before they did something. Lobster bisque soup tasted from a can and had a film on it. Watched other table return drinks. Steak was dry. Worst meal ever.
Did not recognize our anniversary after I entered it in Opentable
Staff made sure that we enjoy celebrating our daughters bday... even personalized our menus with a special birthday wish.
Our server was attentive and perfect for our family. Thank you!
Waiter was a lil too absent
Had reservations and was seated promptly by our server. She made sure we knew of the specials and recommended some very nice non-alcohol drinks. Food came in about 20 minutes from seating and was delicious.
Our waiter was fantastic. He gave great recommendations on drinks and desserts, all of which we did. I can’t wait to go back.
It was our anniversary and the menu said Happy Anniversary and the waitress said it as well right when she came to the table. The drinks and food were amazing. The dessert we wanted sold out and the waitress recommended a place we could check out to get something similar. She was amazing and helped make our night so great.
Awesome service. Sat outside by water so view was incredible. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend Walnut Apple Pie
The guy that helped us (I believe his name was Juan) was amazing!!!!!!
