Dinner arrived after over 2 hours, 5 meals cold and one semi warm. Just awful. Some sides never arrived. Assistant manager was condescending and rude. All of the tables around us had the same experience, waitress was in tears because the general manager wouldn’t even come out to the table to help. Just an awful, unprofessional and disgusting experience. Still horrified!
The restaurant was seriously over priced for what you received. The hostess and wait staff were friendly but not attentive. We asked the waiter for more bread, he acknowledged our request but never bothered to bring the bread. The music selection was nice but the volume was so loud in the dining room, you could barely hear your table mates. Very disappointing!
Josie provides such amazing service!
We celebrated Veterans Day with McCormick
Food was delicious and server was very accommodating. Creme brûlée could have been better - it was frozen in places.
Strongly recommend having a reservation in advance. Since the restaurant had Veteran specials, many people arrived without a reservation and waited up to 3 hours. We made reservations, had dinner and when leaving many who arrived with us were still waiting to be seated. Food was good; service was excellent.
Visited during Veteran's day for the free meal promotion which is typically one of their busiest days of the year. It was still packed at 8pm. We had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. The staff were polite, as always, but you could see everyone was having a long day. We had to wait for clean silverware (again busy day), but multiple servers assisted. The food was great but the shrimp scampy (meal as a whole) was a little on the small side. The regular food prices are a bit high but the food has always taste great. We usually eat here a few times a year and will keep coming back.
My dinner was set for Sunday 6:15 pm and me and my wife checked in at 6:10 pm and the front desk check-in person confirmed my arrival. After about 25 minutes my name for the table for two has not been called yet. I had to go back to the front desk to see what is the problem, and the young lady forgot to call our name and pretty much she forgot our reservation.
I was not happy about that and although the restaurant was celebrating military veterans and I am 10 year Army veteran I was not impressed with the wait time. Once we we're seated it still took another 20 minutes before the server came to my table to take out orders. Once we placed our drink order and i ordered a bottled beer, the server forgot my beer till I reminded him 25 minutes later. Me and my wife dinner did not end till 9:20 and my reservation was set for 6:15 pm. I will not go again for such an event I will go just for a dinner date.
Our annual visit to M&S for veteran's day dinner. Kudos to this chain for continuing to celebrate our service men and women! Our entrees of salmon were great (though the portion served for the veteran's dinner was quite small and lacked a vegetable side, which is disappointing). Our server was excellent and made several good suggestions (the bread pudding is fantastic - get it!). As usual, the noise level is high, so don't expect to go for a quiet, relaxing, romantic time.
Our experience at M&S on 733 Eastern Ave is always great. Great atmosphere and food and everyone is always very hospitable. Enjoy it every time we come.
This restaurant is an exceptional place to celebrate Veteran’s Day. The food was great and our server, Jonathan, was outstanding. Highly recommended.
My husband is a veteran and we love that they honor them with a free entrée every year on Veterans Day
As usual, McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant was excellent. I have gone there for a variety of reasons (and will return) and an happy to report that the consistency of service and food is out-standing. Some-times I wish it would be a little less crowded (that would be un-fair to M & S) but they still stay on top of everything. I used to do restaurant evaluations and I can get rather picky, but M & S has always gotten 5 stars from me.
Had a reservation for Veterans Day. Got seated fairly quick, good service and the food was very delicious.
Spencer the waiter was awesome. Hope to get him again next year
First, I really appreciate what they did for Veterans Day, but the place was definitely overbooked and the dining room is so oddly spaced that people constantly have to squeeze in between tables just to get through. Felt really crowded and to no fault of our waiter the entire experience wasn’t the best. Again, I appreciate the Veterans Day menu, but it’s poorly planned.
It was Veterans Day celebration. I love any establishment that’s a part of Landry’s Inc. M&S is one of my favorite. But this meal (although it was free) you can tell it was mass produced. The Linguini was watered down. But yet and still it was a wonderful event that I am most grateful for. The service and the ambiance was excellent. Thanks for supporting out veterans.
We always enjoy McCormick and Schmick's and always appreciate the effort they make on Veterans Day to recognize the sacrifices that our soldiers and sailors have made while serving our country. It was great to see so many Veterans of all ages enjoying a wonderful meal. Ashley was our server and she was very good -- efficient, friendly, and courteous despite the size of the crowd and the number of tables for which she was responsible. Thanks McCormick and Schmick's for making another Veterans Day a special occasion!
We had a wonderful experience celebrating Veteran's Day and a birthday today at M&S! The waiter (AJ) provided excellent service, everyone was so acommodating and the chef even went out of his way to provide a special dessert upon request! Thank you M&S!
The kitchen had an off day.
Food was good but the services was not that great. M&S was not expecting the crowd for the Veteran's Meal Special at 12:30pm on a Sunday. I had to wait 15 minutes before someone came and to the order. The appetizer and soup came after the entree. The food was pretty good.
My shrimp were over cooked. The sever was not attentive.
Restaurant wasn't very busy, yet entrees and dessert were very slow coming to table. Asked for bread three times to hear that it was being baked. Never got bread. Served white wine in a red wine glass. Check was close to $300. for 4 adults. Not worth the cost. Hadn't been there in a while, now I remember why. Doubt we would return any time soon.
I used to feel they gave great value and excellent food, but these days, my confidence is waning. I often feel I spend way more for the food, it’s not spectacular and they don’t give you enough to feel full.
Appetizers lack luster...
The food was just alright, too much butter on the fish
i frequent m however, this is the 2nd worse experience at this location. i will not return!
The service was the best part of the meal. Our waiter was great and very knowledgeable with great recommendations.
However, the food was absolutely terrible and not worth the money what so ever. We had the crab dip for an app. It was good but loaded with filler. My fiancé had the scallops for dinner. They were like chewing on rubber. I had stuffed shrimp, again like chewing on rubber. For a seafood restaurant in Inner Harbor, the meal should be damn near perfect.
We were hoping for a nice dinner before a concert. However the bread was the best part. Red Lobster has a better quality of seafood and is prepared much better than here.
M&S could not find my anniversary reservations. Took over 20 minutes to get drinks. Took 45 minutes to get food. Server was very flighty. Did not speak nicely about kitchen staff. M&S was not busy.
The restaurant was very nice, but the food was not up to par in my book. I ordered crab and shrimp stuffed salmon. It was delicious, but it was anything but stuffed. Their idea of stuffed was to put about a moderately rounded tablespoon for the crab, shrimp, artichoke & brie "stuffing" on top of the fish. You only had a few bites to enjoy the salmon and stuffing together. The dish came with grilled green beans. They were cooked just right but there were very oily and the oil was not flavorful which I found annoying. So all and all the food was good but not great. If they had stuffed my salmon I'd give them a 4 or 5. Service was excellent - thanks AJ!
This was amazing! I am a vegetarian and there was no options on the menu, but my waitress had the chef make me some pasta and veggies which I was thankful for! Amazing food and the best service I have ever had from a waitress!
Although the service was slow and high noise level due to the radio blaring in the speakers, the food was excellent especially the desert.
Shout out to the Chef Richard.
Overall value: a little over priced; e.g. $45 for dozen raw oysters on the half shell and they were not large.
My birthday the waiter surprised me with desert, it was a great time.
Food portions were very small for average cost. Guests I invited were disappointed with food prices and portions.
It was my wife’s birthday dinner. She was beyond happy!! Happy wife happy life.
What a disappointment. Quality and quantity of food equal to golden coral
Server did a fantastic job. Very engaging, great sense of humor and attentive!!
Great seafood, excellent service, and wonderful ambiance.
Our waiter was excellent. His service was spot on. The meal was solidly good. I really recommend the lobster bisque!
