We love to go to the Harborside to celebrate occasions, or just because. Kyle was our waiter this time. From the moment we walked in the service was spectacular. The food is amazing - especially on the fish side. Don't miss the Lobster Bisque and the Stuffed Salmon. If you like Oysters, this is the place. Salads are outstanding - we love the Walnut Mixed Greens with Blue Cheese. Prices are very reasonable for this quality experience. And the view of the marina is a bonus. Outside seating and a cool bar available too. Happy Hour is killer. My only regret is they no longer make the little round baked bread loafs. They were amazing.

We really enjoyed it. The food was great and the setting was terrific. They seemed to be short-staffed, and we waited a while to order. But we split some items and they did a great job of that and creating correct bills with the appropriate costs.

Absolutely horrible service. Waited literally 40 minutes until just our drinks arrived after several requests. New manager has been brought in who we spoke to and was great. Wait to visit until staffing added!

The food was much too salty and oily and quite sublime for the markup! It didn’t much help that our server Kalee was condescending and seemingly bothered by her mere presence at work on a Sunday afternoon. Not at all the same level of food and service that we’ve received during the dinner hour. Very disappointing.

The restaurant is beautiful. The food was well above average (but not quite OMG). The service was poor. It was understaffed. We were their 20 minutes before we had our first drink. Based on the above, I would have to say that it was not a good value.

It is such a huge bummer how much McCormick and Schmick’s has gone downhill since Landry’s took over. Fish was over cooked, service was slow and our server didn’t know the menu, food was expensive. We will not go back.

We went to the Portland for first time. The restaurant was supposed to posh. However they kept us waiting for 10-15 mins even after reservation. The food was below average. The mah- mahi risotto was undercooked . I could taste the half cooked rice . Despite complaining they didn’t do anything to address the issue and infact billed the dish. I will never come back here. Really bad hospitality

Very good food, but slow, uneven service. Outdoor seating, so we could watch the locals prance by and the dogs soiling the table legs. Portland has a problem, if its not obvious. Took 15 minutes to order and 20 minutes to pay, because the "system was down." Parked in the garage next door where the automated payment system was also down. Had to wait 20 minutes with four other cars to pay and get through through the gate. "The City that Works" ain't.

April 25,2023 I took my family to dinner at 5:30. My grandson and I ordered small filets my med rare and his med. The came out warm. Over cooked and tasted unusual. ? My grandson ate his but mine was redone. So I ate my asparagus and mushrooms until my new steak came It was sizzling with butter melting on top and cooked right as requested. after waiting I had lost my appetite and was ready to go home . So had the steak boxed. Why is it so difficult to bring a steak out sizzling and cooked right the first time. Your rating went down. Back to the chart house. You took some off the price and gave a desert. Do it right the first time. No excuses accepted. Joyce Harczo a club member

That location is amazing. The food was great, but the shrimp kisses used to be my favorite, but not anymore The recipe was changed They don’t taste the same. I think they should just take it off the menu now it was very disappointing

I have been to McCormick & Schmick's locations before, but not this one. Drinks and appetizers were good, but main courses were not. I had Ahi Tuna and the cut was poor and chewy. My son had the Mahi Mahi and the fish was dry. When we checked in the manager said this was the most busy they had been in a long time. Maybe they need to work out some kinks on the food quality and preparation.

For a very empty restaurant it sure felt like they were understaffed. We saw our server Once for drinks, then ordering, then food delivery then bill. No water refills, I had to ask someone else. And our plates were removed again by someone else. Dinner at 7:45 on a tuesday. My father got fish and chips that were like leather he barely ate any but was embarrassed and asked me not to say anything to the server. My steak was a little over cooked and my brothers under cooked. We won’t be going back, should have listened to the reviews sadly.

Easter lunch - it is such a beautiful setting but unfortunately very average to bland food. We ordered the prawn cocktail for $17 and got 4 prawns. I split a Caesar salad with someone and they did not split it for us…not to mention it was tiny. The lettuce was yellow and the dressing was not good. It was a super pathetic salad even if it wasn’t split. We ordered tea and never got hot water refills. Then we switched to coffee and had to request refills. Service was very mediocre. I will not be going back. It’s unfortunate because I love the location and setting.

Party of 8 loud and obnoxious 20sometjings were seated next to us. At one point a server proactively apologized to us for the ongoing disturbance but nothing was done to either ask them to control themselves or to reseat us away from them. For the prices they charge and the reputation of the chain I expected them to require some level of decorum in the dining room. I will not go back

We had a great table looking out onto the river! We both had soup which was very tasty, warming and filling. Although we could hear other customers talking, the noise level was not loud and certainly not deafening as it has been in so many other restaurants we’ve been in lately. Our waitress, Sarah, was very nice and totally efficient. We enjoyed her completely!!

Loved the host who sat us he was very personable and pleasant. Loved the area we sat in. We understand short staffed however the waiter could have come to our table more often with water. Lady at table next to us was very loud and annoying but not your fault. Only food issue was my clam chowder cup was only half full and had a big clump of flour at the bottom which was unfortunately my last bite. Probably was the last scoop of chowder in the pot. Other than that enjoyed our dinner 😀 UM wait my husband says he needed more tartar sauce for his fish but waiter was unavailable to ask for more. his last piece of fish was dry. I tried to flag another server but she ignored me. Oh well. I was pretty loud so I knew she heard me.

We went to the restaurant for my daughter’s birthday. The food and atmosphere was great! The service was terrible! Even though I mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, no one wished her a Happy Birthday or anything. After taking our order and getting our drinks, the waiter pretty much disappeared. He never came back to ask if we wanted dessert or more drinks. My husband had to flag down another wait person to get our check. The restaurant was not busy so not sure why the terrible service. I felt bad for my daughter as I thought it would be a great place to celebrate her birthday and it wasn’t. We will not be back to this restaurant again which is too bad as I used to like it.

Our waiter was horrible I’ve eaten there a lot of times in the past 10 years and this was the worst. When you order and then you have to get up and asked to order salad. This was the first time for my date sorry she was not impressed !!!!. And after spending about $ 150.00 for food and drink . Also while I was waiting for my date I sat at the bar after 10 minutes I had to ask for a cocktail and no they were not busy . !!!!
