Good food and good service in a very nice space

M&S, always a good option. The grilled octopus appetizer was memorable.

Have always had a good experience at M&S happy hour. Less so yesterday. They have limited their HH menu offerings and the food was just so-so. We both had two different versions of fish tacos plus ahi tuna and fries. The fish tacos were a little dry and overcooked. Didn’t taste especially fresh. The HH prices are reasonable and the quantity is good. Just wish the quality of the food was better.

We had a lovely time. The food was amazing and the service was excellent.

Easy in and out. Service was quick, courteous and food was excellent with generous proportions.

Our server, Carrie, was delightful and the food was delicious.

The food was very good but the chowder was lukewarm and the service was very poor. The waiter took 20 minutes to greet us, failed to bring the water we requested and never checked to see if the food was as ordered. We were not offered dessert and the waiter dropped off the bill, saying "in case you are in a hurry". We love McCormick s and we will return but will not accept this waiter again.

McCormick and Schmick’s has done it again: food so flavorful you wonder what magic is in the kitchen. Our waiter was attentive and thoughtful, and we enjoyed our visit immensely. This is the perfect venue for celebrating momentous occasions over dinner.

The Octopus was excellent as was the fish. Menu said it came with asparagus but food came with zucchini squash (I hate zucchini squash, saw asparagus on other plates so confused). I would have sent it back but we were over an hour already by the time the food came. Wife's salad came after my meal. very slow all around.

Good food, nice ambiance, quiet (we were there for a business meeting). I recommend.

Took a friend to lunch here for her 70th birthday, and she was thrilled with the whole experience. We both had the salmon stuffed with crab and it was excellent!

The food was intensely good and was accompanied by attentive service. Worth the price!

Not sure what happened to M&S Grill during the pandemic closure period. Unfortunately the food quality is not what it once was. The preparation is more like it was prepared by a short order cook rather than someone that was chef trained. The decor is still sophisticated but the atmosphere is more like a family friendly diner now in the restaurant.
Was so looking forward to returning to M&S Grill for a lovely date night out with my husband. Will think long and hard before eating in dining room again. May go back for happy hour but not soon.

It was one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. From the moment we walked in the door a staff member in a less than walking manner rudely asked us if we had a reservation. We were told that even though our reservation was for 9 pm, they were already closed but they would serve us if we ordered immediately even though we had just sat down and had not had time to look at the menu. A staff member had called my phone at 7:30 pm and confirmed our reservation for 9 pm but made no mention that they closed at 9 pm and that we would have to order immediately. Dinner with our kids in a restaurant is supposed to be fun and relaxing, and we knew it would not be that way if we ate there so we left before we even ordered. If a restaurant is closed open table should make sure patrons don’t mistakenly make a reservation. Restaurants should also inform customers when the reservation is near or at closing time so customers can choose to make a reservation somewhere else or go elsewhere. We ended up going to California Pizza kitchen across the street and they were so great in taking care of us even though they were close to closing time. Very friendly and welcoming. Unbelievable that McCormick and Schmick’s treats customers this way. We have been great Landry’s customers, and it is disappointing to get this kind of service.

Great Location, easy to get to for our family. Really friendly and accommodating wait staff. We were looking for great seafood and found it here. The chowder bacon cheese fries were surprisingly good, kind of like seafood poutine, eh.

Great restaurant! We went there for a steak and were very surprised how nice the staff was and how nice the place was! Very well done!

Disappointed in the food. We have always been happy before but this time not so. I had the fish tacos - very little fish - My husband and friend had the hamburgers and they were too sloppy - couldn't eat them very well. Also had trouble with the bartender and the drink ordered,. All in all not as good as before. HOpe it gets better.

The salmon was delicious the lava cake desert was divine. The staff was friendly, accessible, and prompt.
The only thing lacking was the shrimp cocktail appetizer... Yes they were huge, yes they were delicious, but only 5 shrimp for $10 was definitely overpriced. And you would think they'd at least provide and even number considering a couple has two people.

Although the waitress was bright and cheerful she and the kitchen made several mistakes. First off let me say what steak house DOES NOT HAVE BAKED POTATOES???????
Secondly, who decided a dinner plate does not include a starch?
My mom ordered a ribeye med-well which had great flavor but came from the kitchen under done. It was cooked exactly like my med-rare ribeye which means the cook pulled them at the same time.
I ordered a ribeye med-rare which had great flavor and was cooked correctly. I also ordered a salad which did not come to the table until after the entree.
I also ordered a lobster tail to go with the steak but the waitress forgot to put it on the order so it did not hit the table until I was at least half way through the meal.

I sat through the first 25% of my meal while my mom had no food as her ribeye was being cooked more.
My salad came with my moms plate.
My lobster did not show up until our meal was half consumed.
I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend unless the service improved greatly.

Overall a great experience. Just a few key things that degraded that experience. Ordered happy hour. Fries seemed skimpy. While ordering for allergy free meal I asked a probably somewhat silly question about an ingredient and the waitress literally stared me down without replying for a very long time. She gave that “wow really?” Kind of look at me. Even my husband sitting with me said it was a pretty heated look and he didn’t know what to say. Her apparent judgment of my question made it challenging to collect my thoughts and clarify where I was coming from and why I was asking about it.
Then my order came out incorrect so I had to wait longer to get the right order. Luckily she took my order off the bill to make up for the mistake which was nice of them to do. Overall it would of been nice if she just asked what I meant instead of stare me down. Felt unprofessional.

We very much enjoyed our experience at McCormick & Schmick’s. The food was wonderful & our server did an awesome job!

We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff was absolutely amazing. The food was wonderful and they made our night very special.

Good food. A bit over priced.

The food was great, and so many good choices on thee menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive to our needs.

New prices that rivaled Elliot Bay Oyster House in Seattle with their 20% Covid19 charge tacked on! When did prices jump so high? We were hoping for a birthday treat for my wife but were denied. Food was great as always, except the portion of halibut that was too skimpy to even know that’s what I had! Service was great as always and attentive. Lovely time but missed the mark with ridiculous price increases.

We were asked at time of reservation, if it was a special occasion. We re even a phone call prior confirming our anniversary and getting both our names with spelling. However, during our dinner nobody wished us well or mentioned the special event in any way! Wierd! Food was excellent, especially the lobster bisque.

The server was very good. It took a very long time to get the entrees to the table. Apparently a problem making rice??

My only disappointed is they use farm raised salmon now, unsure how long they've done this as 2020 is a blur.. Everything else is wild which is good. They used to be known for all wild seafood - hopefully they will again someday.

Food was great but service was lacking. Waiter seemed stressed and ran away before my husband could order cocktail. He was not as attentive as your wait staff has been in the past. With that said, our food was very good and we had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you!

We heard good things about this restaurant but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype.

Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Alec did a great job. Food was tasty. We enjoyed ourselves.
