Service was okay…
Excellent and unique menu. Service was friendly and the food was great!
Fantastic cuisine and the setting was conducive to a productive meeting. The service was spot on.
Excellent food, service, decor, and ambiance, featuring interesting and unexpected mixtures of local and Asian cuisines. When they say "hot" in describing the fried chicken you should take that very seriously, but the dish is unusual and delicious nonetheless. The noodle bowls are wonderful. And if you like Sazeracs, be sure to try the "Sazerac du Roi": it's a sophisticated and tasty take on the venerable New Orleans cocktail. This restaurant is highly recommended on all counts; don't miss it!
Every bite of food was amazing! Don’t miss the Bibb lettuce salad and 100% get the bread service.
All around great experience and they let us stay and talk for three hours!
Always delicious. Menu is unique. Great cocktails.
refreshingly varied menu. love the asian cajun fusion
Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Just thinking about how much I loved the flavors of the food is making my mouth water. Will be going back every time we visit NOLA.
Unique delicious dishes. We ordered almost everything on the menu! Great service. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new!
Amazing variations on familiar foods.
Excellent experience as usual! SO glad Maypop has reopened!
Started at the bar with a delicious Pika Pika, Maypops take on the margarita and was delighted. After proceeding to our table we enjoyed the delicious bread service, a must have for carb lovers. We then had the oysters and coconut salad with Bibb lettuce and cashews. We ordered the blue crab pasta which was absolutely amazing and unforgettable as well as the shrimp and grits, also yummy and the short ribs which were satisfactory. All around a great meal and will definitely come back.
Innovative, flavorful, modern, delicious menu. Friendly, informed and discreetly attentive staff. Great ambience. My favorite restaurant in New Orleans (a city where choosing a favorite restaurant is very difficult!)
Maypop has a limited, but excellent menu with options to share, as well as main courses. Wine selection is great. The service was fantastic.
Absolutely the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. Hands down.
Super small menu.
not at all giving what it said it was supposed to be giving
Awesome!! Food and service were incredible!
Great experience on every level. Table was ready at our reservation time. Our server, Lindsey, was fantastic: Friendly, Personable, and Insightful. She guided our food tour and steered us into some extraordinary culinary delights. The scallop and blueberry small plate was an unexpected pairing that found fans among us. From the bread service to the duck ham to crawfish étoufée curry to egg yolk custard, we did not have a bad bite all night. Even the cocktails contain layers of surprise. Cannot recommend MayPop highly enough.
Different menu listed on Open Table versus what they have in restaurant.
Waiter broke a water bottle right behind my chair. Glass went everywhere. No one asked if our table
Was okay or if glass got on us.
Everything was perfect. One of the best meals I’ve had in the last 5 years. The smoked duck ham was out of this world, perfectly paired and balanced flavors. This is will a restaurant I’ll visit every time I’m in NOLA.
Food was great, decent portions and value. Seating was a little tight with the current global situation, but would go again next time we visit.
Professional, delicious l
Very please! Great Food & Flavor. Staff was attentive and thoughtful.
The food was delicious. Not a huge menu, but our party has varied tastes and we all ordered something different and were delighted. Our common treat was the oyster dish. We ordered 1 and then 2 more.
Also, one person in our party has an allium allergy and because of the curry the chef and server steered us in the right direction. Thank you for an amazing and imaginative lunch!!!
The menu was incredible and the chef mixed every different flavor flawlessly. I’ll be dreaming about that dining experience for weeks to come.
Laurie at the door made our night! Thank y’all everything was amazing. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful meal, the food was excellent. We also really appreciated the quiet but bustling neighborhood atmosphere.
Simply excellent. My friend and I shared the fried oysters, she had the fried chicken and I had the lamb. Every item was perfect
They use canola (rapeseed oil) in ALL of their food. Cheapest, most unhealthy oil you can buy. Could not make us anything without canola (Canada Oil) produced from a toxic plant in Canada and sold to dumb Americans. Most European countries have banned it.
My husband and I had lunch there, and the goat curry was very good and good value. I had the shrimp and grits. It was good, but for the price was not worth it. There couldn’t have been an ounce and a half of shrimp. For17 or $18 it was not nearly the kind of dish that you would expect. It doesn’t come close to comparing to the pelican club’s quail and foie gras and grits that was an appetizer for only $12. There was an equivalent amount of food. May pops shrimp and grits was not ample enough to be considered an entrée. Service was slow. Particularly, given the fact that there were multiple levels of waitstaff. However, the wait staff were all very congenial. I do not recommend the shrimp and grits and I do notRecommend going there if you have any kind of time constraints.
Just excellent!!! Great food, cocktails and service.
A must in NOLA.
One of our favorite restaurants in the city! Your taste buds will thank you! Highly recommend!!
Such creative cuisine...the fusion of Southeast Asia and Southern Louisiana styles and flavors was so unique and wonderful! I have eaten across the globe and the food at Maypop was among the very best meals I’ve ever experienced...Would go back in a heartbeat 💗
The coconut milk Alfredo was to die for! So excited that I got to try this restaurant while in New Orleans.
Always a delicious melding of of flavours from many cuisines that sometimes may sound a bit odd but never fail to please. Our favourite restaurant in New Orleans. We are so pleased that you were able to re open & our first meal post pandemic made us very happy.
You can’t lose. Fantastic food. Great service. A personal favorite.
Maypop has such amazing food that never leaves you feeling too heavy afterwards. The atmosphere is beautiful!
