We are a Chef owned and operated restaurant striving to give back to our community.
We are true believers in local sustainability and sourcing. With as much beautiful food our land’s provided us, it is essential that we show respect for our bounty by enjoying it and keeping those who care for our crops in business. At Mayas our focus will be Spanish and Mediterranean influenced tapas, with fun regional wines from around the world, craft cocktails, and bottled beers.

If your desired time or party size is not available on open table, please call us after 4pm to speak with our host as seating may be available.

Finding good food and good service is hard, but Maya's offers both. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food offers a diverse selection that provides wonderful, tasty bites. We enjoyed sharing a wide selection of menu items and savoring each flavorful bite.

What a great deal for tapas and drinks. The drinks were only $7 for IPAs on draft and a bartenders choice cocktail. This varies according to the week, however the day we were there I tried the coconut mojito and it was delicious. Not too sweet with a hint of fresh herbs and coconut. The tapas were small but just enough to fill us up for Happy Hour. We didn't care for the way they prepared the calamari as it was sauteed in a lemon butter sauce and not battered or fried. However the $13 paella was great and the Patatas Bravas with goat cheese and potatoes with smoked paprika aioli had a unique taste. We definitely would go back there again. The service was great and they tried to accommodate where we wanted to sit on the outdoor lanai. It's good to make reservations as it gets crowded later on. Lovely drive to the North Shore.

We came from NJ. Been here 5 years ago a couple times with my daughter who lives on the North Shore. I highly recommend Mayas at all levels. I’ll be back before we head home.

Our server was Kai. He did an amazing job taking care of us. Guided us through three courses. With great wine recommendations for each. Everything was perfect. Thank you Mayas,Kai and staff

Maya’s is one of the best restaurants in Haleiwa, it’s where the people who live on the North Shore go to eat. It’s consistently good and prices are reasonable.

It was refreshing to find this charming restaurant out on the north shore. Attentive and polite service with tasty dishes. Nothing like I’ve ever had before, the menu selection of tapas were artistically created and the flavors light and balanced perfectly. The drinks expertly layered with unexpected but complimented flavors. I will definitely come back.
