Maxwell's Bar & Grill abrió sus puertas a principios de 1980 y ha seguido creciendo al punto de ser uno de los restaurantes mejor establecidos en Convent Garden. It was just ok that's the problem! I booked as it was my daughters birthday and I stated this in the booking email so I thought the staff would have read this and made her feel special or a looked out for this but nothing was said and there was no mention of it. I purposefully didn't say anything as I thought something would be done so for this reason the visit was uneventful, unmemorable and nothing special. Food was ok and the service was nothing special. Very flat

7 of us came for a birthday celebration, with 2 children. We all really enjoyed it. The cocktails we wanted weren't on the menu, but they agreed to do them for us. So kind. Our waitress was Magdelena and she was extremely attentive to all our needs.

We detoured into London (from Plymouth) before going to Gatwick just to have a meal here in our favourite restaurant. Food never disappoints. Portions sizes are just right. Customer service is great, couldn’t ask for anyone else ☺️

Decided to eat here before attending theatre near the restaurant. We had two drinks, one side and two mains which roughly came to £60 so a little pricey but very much worth it for the portions and flavours. My partner had the chicken burger and I had the Wagyu beef burger. We shared a mac and cheese to dip chips into. We both upgraded fries to sweet potato and truffle fries. Also added some extra ranch dip. The quality of the food was flawless, presentation was flawless too. Speed of service was fantastic and the servers were all friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be visiting again.

Always an amazing experience at Maxwells. The food is great, it comes out quickly and hot and delicious. The wait staff is phenomenal.

Another enjoyable family meal at Maxwell's. Great location in Covent Garden. Relaxed vibes and super friendly attentive staff. Food always good and although it's bordering on the pricey side, for location, ambiance and comfort - it's in line with competition. The downside is the loo - bit cramped and whiffy!

Atmosphere and food was amazing however it took a while to be seated even though we had pre booked. Once seated it took a long time to have our orders taken and our food arrived before our drinks the service was that slow.

The servers were running! Our food was almost thrown on the table were she was running. Our starter was wrong twice! And the bacon in the mac and cheese was gross. Would not come back
