I love this place!! Unfortunately we were there the last day they were open. They closed their doors today. Too bad. Always packed, food great and wait staff awesome. I'll miss it!!!
Good food and good service
I always love coming to Max’s Harvest! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is enjoyable.
We have loved this establishment ever since it opened several years ago. At this meal - after a bit of a lapse in visiting - we discovered many of the tremendous options are no longer part of the menu. The meatballs, truffle Mac & Cheese as well as the Deviled Eggs.....all have vanished. Short Rib with the fried egg - long gone.
This seems to have coincided with a recent phenomenon for this establishment - more availability to get a table/reservations.
This is still a great dining option in Delray - but has lost some of its allure based on the great sides that drew us in, and are no longer available. The $10 valet parking didn’t help, either.
Max’s Harvest is one of our favor restaurants in Delray. The front inside dinning is very loud. The back patio was great, not much traffic and sound level was much lower. The appetizers were great. I had the short ribs and they were disappointing. Wine list is ok. Other than that our dinning experience was good.
Fathers Day brunch was fantastic. Great atmosphere and freshly prepared food.
Lunch on Father’s Day.
Great spot, been twice & success both times! I would suggest they add specials to the brunch menu to switch it up a bit.
This was our third time at Max’s. The service was outstanding..... We found out while there that the chef had changed; that was clear to us as the food wasn’t as good as previous times.
Really enjoyed the food and service as usual. Max Harvest is my favorite weekend brunch place. I am always excited to see what's new on the menu.
Very nice restaurant. We tried some "DIFFERENT" dishes that were a little out of our norm. Enjoyed them, but would probably try more traditional foods next time. Food was fresh and very good. Service was excellent.
Our waiter was not pleasant and definitely not attentive. Never asked us how the food was and did not even offer to refill the iced tea. Asked for a to go box and never got it. He either was having a bad day or should not be in the service business.
Max’s is our favorite place for brunch. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Dinner is amazing as well. We always leave happy. There is something for everyone. If you are vegan, you must eat here. They even have vegan dessert.
It been a good 3 years since we had visited after having been to Max’s Harvest on a regular basis. The quality of the food was excellent and we enjoyed each of our dishes. We order the grilled cauliflower app, tuna tartar app, goat cheese croquets and an excellent hamburger. We had the donuts for dessert and there were so many on the plate we shared them with the neighboring table. We will be back soon.
Wonderful! A True Neighborhood Gem
Fantastic Food, great service, cant recommend more.
Great food great atmosphere. Always have a wonderful time.
Great atmosphere and food. Really nice servers. Would definitely recommend!
That was the best hamburger, fine service professionals and we went back the same night for dessert!
The food was just incredible.. head and shoulders above most restaurants in the area.
Great spot of weekend brunch, probably one of the best in Delray. Great food and atmosphere. Can get loud but it is a fun group! Food is wonderful and always fresh!
A great dining spot while on vacation.
This is what is called fine dining: delicious food and excellent service.
Different flavors of food is combined in one tasty dish. Had market fish with cuscus - out of this world!
Also tried appetizers. Goat cheese croquets - excellent! Octopus- excellent!
And Black beens salad with tostada- excellent!
We would have loved our experience but unfortunately, received very poor service from our server Matt. He appeared to be in a bad mood and hardly introduced himself upon first coming to our table. He only came to check on us after something from the kitchen came out wrong. He didn't refill my girlfriend's drink and she went up to the bar to do it herself. When he was bringing the check, she wanted one more drink. He told her "you have to go to the bar to fill it up yourself". Not having known that this was the type of place it was (that there was a mimosa bar), it came across as extremely rude. We had been sitting and waiting for a drink refill for a very long time. When we asked at the end why he didn't tell us that from the start, he said, "Oh I thought you'd been here before. It says it right on the menu." I'm sorry but this is no way to treat your guests, no matter what mood you are in. I know the servers are not responsible for everything about your service (i.e., the kitchen could be running behind), but the way in which Matt communicated with us, his facial expression, left us feeling like we were a burden to him. I hope Matt can change his attitude or find a different profession.
A perfect Mothers Day Brunch! Special healthy food fair with a gourmet touch. Presentation on the plate, very well done. Highly recommend this out of the way establishment close to the heart of Delray!
We brought my mother for mother's day. We were supposed to sit inside but it was very loud so I asked to sit outside. It was pouring that day but it was lovely and quiet outside . Unfortunately despite the awning, there was alot of dripping. That's ok but neither the hostess or the waiter identified it and offered to wipe the chairs or checked on us regarding the rain. When we asked for help they brought napkins but made us feel like we were being pains. Also the waiter, Mat, seemed like he was in a bad mood, didn't check on us to see if our food was okay. Didn't tell me that my Yucca fries were replaced with regular potato fries as the kitchen has run out of yucca. He told me this halfway through my meal. But what really irked me was when he asked us if we were finished when we all still had half a plate of food. Obviously, we were far from finished. He also slapped the check down on the table before offering us coffee or asking if we wanted anything else. We did want coffee and he hemmed and hawed that the restaurant was closing. That was the first we had been informed that it was closing. He gave us coffee but he seemed to do so begrudgingly. By habit I gave him a 20% tip, but realized later that I really shouldn't have because he shouldn't be left thinking that his service was good. It was not. Fortunately we managed to enjoy our celebration despite these issues because that's who we are but I believe it could have spoiled the occasion for many people. I am sorry to name a particular server but I hope my critique will help him become a better server despite being either busy or moody.
The food was great! The only issue was, It did take awhile for our food to come out. When it finally came out, they brought our starters at the same time as our main courses. Nothing was piping hot so I think it sat in the back. It could have been great but the delay from the kitchen and bringing starters and mains all at once and everything being lukewarm was disappointing.
First time there, but it will not be our last. Excellent food and service. This was a mothers' day brunch. We will try dinner.
Great service and great food. Will definitely be back
Great flavors. Ribs over the top delicious. Scallops and English Peas Yummy.
Arugula Salad not good but crab wontons were fiery spicy good.
When we are in Delray, Max's is always our 1st choice. We love the food and the people. It's unbelievable how they nail it every time.
The specialty drinks and Farm To Table theme was PERFECT after beach yoga, we had an awesome meal and the service was delightful!
Great food and service ate outside in the back great evening . Well definitely be returning
Great entrees that are different than your standard fair. Very generous mimosa/ sangria/ Bloody Mary/ champagne bar.
Great food!! Love this place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. I am a big fan of French Toast. This was THE BEST I have ever had!!!!! Kevin was a very attentive waiter. Great brunch. I recommend trying it. YUMMY!!!
Food was very fresh, unique and delicious! Would dine there again.
Food was good / but when we got the bill and saw that They charged $7 / a bottle for still And sparkling water - this spoiled it for us!
Outstanding. Was in Delray Beach for a short overnight stay. We had made a reservation at another restaurant, only to find out it was very far away. Cancelled that and scrambled to find this. Within walking distance of our hotel. Great neighborhood ambiance. Food was excellent.
Perfect for a date with that someone special. Will definitely return on next visit to Delray.
