   This place did not disappoint! Believe the reviews...they are all true. Vibe is amazing, the live music was a great added touch and the food & drinks were great. Service was good and I have no complaints at all. Great place for groups. Only thing is drinks stagger out and take a while to come out but thats to be expected as it was very busy.

   Great Ambience, but poor/awkward service. At a four seasons hotel/restaurant you expect a higher level of hospitality. We asked to sit outside in the sun. We were seated in the shade on a fountain bench that was holding the cold from the temperature drop that night. The restaurant was close to empty because it was early… we were told that they could not move us into the sun because that would break the rotation in the service seating chart and that we had to sit in the shade. There were at least 6 other open tables with seats in the sun. The hostess’ direct response was, “the other tables in the sun are not in this server’s section… and unfortunately I cannot move the sun, sorry”. It was a very odd experience and completely unexpected. Food wise, the portions were quite small, I recommend ordering a bunch of sides if you go for brunch. Mimosas were good.

   The tacos came out a little soggy but tasted delicious! The stars of the show were the side dishes - potatoes, street corn, and especially the plantain fried rice. Ambiance was beautiful, great views of the harbor and nice decor. Service was spot on. Wish they had more cocktail options but the tequila menu is very expansive!!

    Other than the food, which was excellent, there was nothing that would make me want to repeat the experience. Service was slow, especially for a half full restaurant on Mother's Day, prices were high and the portions were small.

    This visit to Maximon was filled with many disappointments. We understand that things happen sometimes out of our control, but this past experience was more than that. We didn't have a designate waiter, which would be fine, we understand collective support, but no one came over to us for 20 minutes, until we asked the lovely waiter supporting the table next to us, he was nice enough to bring us water and then got us some beverages. The waiter we did get who took our orders seems distracted and annoyed. We never received cutlery when we received our food, we had to ask for that, and when we got a fork and knife, we didn't get a napkin, we had to ask for Napkins from another staff person, one of Items didn't come out for 30 minutes, when we mentioned it to another staff person, they responded "Its coming," which felt like a disregard that we never actually got it. Our next order of beverages from another staff person came out 20 minutes later, we never got refills on water, our "designated" waiter walked past our table multiple times and never even checked in on us, we had to get up and ask for more cutlery and then ask for the check after waiting for a while. The plus was the ambiance and a chance to be outside. But, it was too much for us where we felt we had to constantly ask for the basics to be seen and taken care of. Additionally, it was clear who the waiters would take care of, we saw a shift in all hands on deck when people who they knew and perhaps even well to do individuals and groups. The sad part is, you never know who a person is and the staff selected who they would care for and they disregarded and negated others who were there to be serviced as well. It was evident and it was disappointing. We did most of the work, but still paid full price. No apologies, no acknowledgement of the disregard, it was just as though this is business as usual and it was disappointing.

    Overall, beautiful establishment but the menu is limited. Live music, service, and food were good. I wish there were more food portions for some of the items. Very fun, but only going back for very special occasions.

    Visited this beautiful restaurant before heading to a concert on a Saturday afternoon. Located in Harbor East inside of the Four Season hotel. Here's my take on Maximom Environment Even on a rainy day you couldn't take the charm away from this beautiful establishment. Its a huge space with wonderful decor and plenty of seating inside and out. Located right on the waterfront with beautiful views - either inside or out you will not have a bad seat. They have a bar for more casual drinks or dinner arrangements and they have a small stage where they have live music available on some days and nights. It's simply a beautiful and relaxing space. Service Our server was nice and knowledgeable of the menu and was very helpful in our selections. Very enjoyable all around and made sure we had what we needed. Food and drinks We had a few drinks that were amazing and the food was wonderful. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Everything we had was great with plenty of flavor. The guacamole was excellent, the shrimp quesadillas were full of flavor and tasty. I had two chicken tacos and they were just as good. we also had the Maryland Crab Fritters and they were delicious as well. Honestly everything we had we loved and enjoyed and would highly recommend. Overall I loved the experience at Maximom from the environment, service to the food and will definitely come back for more.

    Very nice ambiance, the food was very good. Everything tasted soo good. Queso was so good, steak was good very expensive though (and small) plantain rice , pineapple margarita, tacos, the roasted wings were okay but they serve a spicy sauce with it that’s good. Overall really nice

I thought brunch menu was great but did not seem overly brunch specific (given that I had dinner there 2wks before, but no specific brunch drink menu, tacos were the same/still delicious).     Food was amazing, service was amazing , the environment was very welcoming. Only think I would recommend is keeping bathrooms tidy through out the day but otherwise awesome experience and will go back. Our server Darnell is 10/10.

    This was my third time at Maximon and it was as wonderful as the prior experiences. From start to finish, the staff and management are engaging, courteous and helpful. Our server, Villager, could not have been more charming and made the birthday dinner all the more special. The craft cocktails, delicious and eclectic food choices, beautiful harbor view and live music (Trio Caliente.. talented and fun) made for a super fun and delightful evening.

    Visited for cinco de Mayo. It was a vibe, the drinks are always good. I had the solamente which one of my favorites. Beet salad 🔥 Mahi tacos 🔥 Mussels 🔥 This night they had a DJ and it’s the perfect place to sit on the water and catch the sun going down too

    Let me start this review by saying that we are avid Atlas restaurant group supporters. We go to Tagliata at least monthly and even got engaged there. We love Loch Bar. Last night, I decided to take my out of town family to Maximon. They specifically requested waterfront dining and I thought Maximon would be perfect and that Atlas wouldn't let us down. It was my first time going as well and I was excited to show off Baltimore's best dining. Boy, was I mistaken. Service was incredibly slow and lack luster. None of that super personable Atlas service I am accustomed to. The food runners would throw the plates down in front of us and wouldn't even make eye contact. The food was even worse than the service. My cousin was excited to try the oysters since we were on the baltimore harbor. The oysters came out STILL FROZEN IN THE MIDDLE...as if they had just been pulled out of the freezer and sat on ice in the back. The corn quesadilla was flavorless and lukewarm. The black bean risotto was watery and the risotto was crunchy. The only good thing we ordered was the queso fundito. I left the restaurant embarrassed that this was what I brought my out of town family to for their first baltimore meal. All in all, very very disappointed with our latest atlas experience and don't plan on returning to Maximon.

    We were celebrating a work promotion at Maximon and we are so glad that’s where we decided to go! They gave us complimentary champagne to toast and our waitress was great. She provided us with great recommendations on tequila and our food came out perfectly and was so delicious!

    We made a reservation, I do suggest you doing that. We went on a rainy day and the view was still amazing!! Their Mezcal 🍍Margarita 👌🏽👌🏽just the spot! We sat in The back near the fire place . It was pretty peaceful! I loved it not too close to the live music. Service was amazing. The food was pretty good but not OMG let’s spend all my money good. A bill for two was $200, including tip. This is Anniversary, get super cute, let’s celebrate with class type of place.

    The food at this restaurant is unique and delicious! We were seated off to the side in a large booth for our group of six, which was perfect since we needed to talk and hear each other. In the main seating room, it may have been a little noisier, though it still seemed quiet enough to easily communicate in smaller groups. The waiter was very enthusiastic about the menu and the restaurant, and was very prompt in taking care of us. The guacamole has grapes in it, and though we were a bit hesitant when we first saw it, it was absolutely and surprisingly delicious! Everything seemed to be made from scratch, even the corn tortillas for the quesadillas. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area!

    The only reason I gave the service four stars instead of 5 is that it was a bit intrusive when someone other than our server came around to check on us. I realized the restaurant was trying to ensure their customers were happy. When I was a server, we were told only to approach the table if beckoned to allow the guests to enjoy their experience without interruptions.

    Staff appeared disorganized at times. Drinks took ~ 30 mins to arrive, food was served before the drinks came out. We were told the drinks were being served from a different bar than the waiter knew about it, which caused the delay. We waited a long time for any request we had- water, straws, utensils, etc. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food and drinks.

    Sat on patio for first time. Weather was stunning. They did a good job with decor, making you feel like you are in Mexico somewhere. Food was good except for arugula salad which accompanied my sandwich. I’ve had this dish two times before and it’s always been good. Unfortunately the salad was salty, so much so I could not eat. However, my chicken sandwich was delicious. Will probably order something different next time.
