We went to Max's for our anniversary date and had a great time! The filet Mignon with crab meat was exceptional! My wife had the tuna which she enjoyed. Our waiter was very good as was the entire evening. We will be back!

My friend and I met for lunch at 2 PM on a Monday afternoon. Our server was Peter. The hostess was absolutely lovely and sweet- Peter was so polite and fun- he helped participate in fun little gag I played on my BFF. I ordered the shrimp with vodka sauce and my friend had the Tuscan Chicken Salad. Both were large portions and we ended up taking some of each home. Cocktails were good. It was starting to get pretty busy at the bar by the time we left. I had a good experience. It's a bit pricey but the free parking helped~

Enjoyed a great meal in Tomahawk Fridays. Service was excellent and attentive from greeting by hosts and our server was great. Be back soon.

Fantastic experience. Came here for my wife’s Birthday they treated us like royalty making sure we enjoyed our dinner. From top to bottom this was a fantastic meal.

Great food and service as usual. It was also nice to see some expansion of the menu from previous visits. A very comfortable and inviting place to have a conversation. Generous portions of high quality food.

Our first time back at Max Downtown in years. I was disappointed. The staff were very friendly however everything we ate (except the dessert) was so very salty. I expect more refined cooking considering the long history of Max Downtown.

We sat at the bar. The bartenders were fantastic with their recommendations for food and wine. As good as it gets everything was fabulous and the Red Sox even won!!!

Excellent service, Excellent food and a steak house atmosphere. Pricey but when you put it all together it was definitely worth the price. We will be back!! And that is the ultimate complement.
