   It was a delightful experience! When I told the local winery I had a booking here, they said I was really lucky as it’s a special event that has an excellent reputation, and they were right! The drive up had beautiful views, only fully appreciated from the top where the dining area is. I am amazed that the farm-to-table experience was so well-crafted with respect to local utilization. Every dish was beautifully plated and offered a balanced palette. I love that everything I ate not only tasted complex and delicious, but it also nourished my body. What a skill to be high-end in craft and true to the farm life! The staff is knowledgeable and kind and eager to share their love of the land. If you worry about driving at night and don’t mind a camping experience, you can stay the night. So glad I found this gem and will tell all my friends about it. I can’t wait to go back!

   Fabulous experience at the Sat Tasting menu dinner. The food was stellar. 6 courses, all made with local ingredients. So fresh and innovative. Every bite was a delight. The prime rib (not your typical) was maybe the best I have ever eaten. We were seated with another couple who were long time residents, so it was great to learn more about the Big Island from them. The owners are lovely people and their passion for food and farming really comes through. You can bring your own wine (they charge a corking fee). Not an inexpensive meal, but worth every penny for such a wonderful dining experience. Mahalo!

   We had reservations to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Excited to try a burger and they were all out when we arrived! Had fish sandwich, soup and fries. They forgot our meals! After we asked about it and showed our receipt. They brought us cold food. Sadly, it was a cloudy & rainy day so we did not have a scenic ocean view.

   It looks like a very unassuming food truck, but everyone there clearly takes pride in the food they serve, and it shows in the quality and flavor. The location is great too, and the views are beautiful from the outdoor patio seating area.

    Great place with a steep road to get there. Tricky driveway, but it’s well marked. Really enjoyed the food, the beautiful view, the live-edge tables. It’s really just a food truck with some outdoor seating. The 3 walls have glass and help to cut the wind, yet still give you a good view. Paper plates and plasticware. Nothing impressive in that. Trash can was by the truck rather than by the tables. The food was expertly prepared and very good. Ketchup was a large communal bottle. Wasn’t sure if we were supposed to sit first and be served or order at the truck. few drink options, all straight from the can. (Would have preferred a glass with ice to go with it). Limited menu, but I can’t imagine anyone not finding something delicious on it. Cooks were very friendly and helpful, taking great pride in their work. They made their own burger patties from grass fed beef, but very well prepared so it tasted as good as grain-fed.
