Our waiter was exceptional. The restaurant and lobby area is way to loud - some noise dampening panels are necessary -though there were only 20 people dining inside, it sounded like 200! Very bad acoustics. The rest was great!

Service was poor and unattentive. We ordered two different kinds of fish and what we got was the same fish, dressed differently. The fish was good but not what we ordered. We had waited so long for our food that we went ahead and ate what we got instead of waiting to fix the order. The Yukon baked potato was anything but a Yukon potato.
I have eated here before and found it quite good so maybe this was just a bad night, but there is no excuse for the bad service.

Best fried snapper anywhere on the rock. The lobster was fantastic, as were the vegetables. Never a bad meal here

Love the ambiance at the hotel! The dining room was too crowded & loud.
So Keanna from the bar was excellent regarding her suggestions even though

I've been to Matt's several times since they opened. The space itself is nice, as is the ambiance, however they can't seem to get the food right no matter what I order. This last time I had the king salmon, which was a pricey $35, and it wasn't prepared very well on the grill. The flavor was decent at best and was raw/cold in the middle Also, for some reason the chef likes to cover everything with bacon. Given we had several vegetarians at the table this was problematic, including sending our asparagus back. This has happened on previous visits as well where the fries included bacon. If you go here go for the live music and drinks but don't expect too much as it relates to the food.

Outrageous food! Every course better than the last one. We enjoyed the clams, oysters and salads. Hemingway cocktail was superb too!

Very enjoyable meal. Sat outside, which was delightful--watched an approaching storm. Had the smoked fish dip and fresh yellowtail snapper, beautifully prepared. Waitress was great, friendly and thoughtful. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely to sit outside on their patio for dinner with a view of the Stock Island waterfront at dusk! Quiet conversation, not crowded on a Saturday night. Service was excellent - our waiter was very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. If you want to enjoy waterfront dining but want something away from the Duval Street and Old Town crowds where there is ample free parking, make the trip out here to Stock Island. We were not disappointed! Great place for a date. The food is a bit on the pricey side - my snapper ceviche and grouper were both very good, but not exceptional. Their key lime tart is excellent. They do have a great tasting menu summer deal for three courses for $30, which also includes 20% of wine bottles and $2 for their house cocktail.

Great food, nice ambiance, energetic ambiance! Only remark we have is that the glasses of rosé were really dutch like 😄! USD 10 a glass for half a glass is expensive! Nevertheless, food was good! We definiteley recommend the restaurant!! It was great!!

Matt's Stock Island Kitchen has wonderful ambience. The outdoor seating is awesome. Even on a hot day , the breeze made our dinner spectacular, and looking over the marina just adds to the experience. My husband ordered the Oysters and they were fresh and tasty. Our Grouper was tasty with the exception of the overfried cornmeal crust. This is the second time I ordered my fish this way and that was my mistake. There are many things yet to try on the menu. We will be returning on our next trip to Stock Island.
The S O B bar next to the pool is a gem as well.

Great place for a casual meal with many choices. All staff were so very friendly and attentive from the hostess Deborah, to our charming waiter Rustam and even the quick Balan clearing off our used dishes. Such a pleasant evening meal, feeling welcomed and special. Food is delicious and just the right portions. Will be back!

Leon was our waiter and he was fabulous.! We had teens that asked lots of questions and he patiently answered them and helped in making menu decisions. The fish tacos were spot on! Great environment!

Matt’s was perfect. The food was original, fresh and imaginative. We are discerning, and each course was wonderful. The Fire and Ice salad was the most unique and delicious take in a salad we have seen in a very long time. Good service, great patio view. Stock Island has a winner. As locals, We did not know about Matt’s until we fueled our boat and the Marina mentioned it. A great secret, but not for long.

Love the vibe & atmosphere! I think they should of turned off the fireplace on the outside patio. Kinda ridiculous to make a hot climate more hot.

Consistently a great experience. I’m a 30-year Key West resident and consider Matt’s a real safe haven from “yea old tourist traps” in town. I highly recommend for all occasions.

The Restaurant is very cool. We brought in our own fresh catch and the chef made it ceviche and tacos. The filet was a touch over cooked for the tacos but it was still pretty tasty. We had to flag down another server for a second drink and also for our check. That being said it was a very relaxing meal.This is our second visit and we will be returning on our next trip down to Key West.

Nice spot by the harbor. Saw some dolphins while we dined which was nice! Unfortunately the patio is right next to the pool so there were some rowdy kids making a lot of noise nearby. Food was good, service could have been better. But a very nice ambiance.

Best food on Stock Island... including fresh fish, lobster, oysters and amazing steaks. The key to each plate is the variety of amazing sauces available...every dish is carefully crafted, along with delicious side dishes.

This is the second time we’ve eaten at Matt’s and have been very pleased both times. We are local and know how fish is supposed to taste. We had very fresh, perfectly cooked fish with a lovely sauce. My green bean side was just OK but my husband said his cornbread mash was outstanding. Even though we are used to high prices in a tourist area, Matt’s prices were high even by key west standards as everything is alacarte and the service, while pleasant is not fine dining. Otherwise, we’ll be back.

Reservation at 7, restaurant was fairly empty. Server was nice, food was expensive for what you get. $24 for an 8 shrimp basket was pricey. If you are staying at the hotel it is convenient enough, but has potential to be a lot better!

I was looking for something different that was not in Key West. Matt's had good reviews and we decided to give it a try. We will definitely be returning. The crab beignets were amazing. The grouper with gnudi was delicious. Hand crafted cocktails. Seating outside near the water. The bar looked great with a couple of TV's. I would have drinks there. Outside area with firepit for drinks looked great as well.

The preparation and presentation of fresh oysters to begin, yellowtail snapper tacos and skillet seared yellow edge grouper for dinner was the BEST fresh seafood we’ve enjoyed in years- and we’re born and raised in Miami foodies!

A delightful change of pace and scenery from the Duval Crawl scene at a brand new property, beautifully appointed, evoking a causally elegant dockside vibe that includes a hotel, an indoor and an outdoor bar, and a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating at nearby Stock Island.

Service staff and management were friendly, helpful and professional.

A friend was in town for her last meal in KW for a while!!!
When we couldn’t get into another early gathering/dining spot we went to The Perry & Matt’s Restaurant!
Vera at the bar made a very special cocktail for 2 of us & they have IPA’s on draft!!!

My wife and I tried Matt’s along with friends the first night with reservations and went back for a second without reservations to see if we could get a table. We sat inside both evenings and the dining area was nice. There were a few other diners in the area but I don’t think this place has been really discovered yet so it was not noisy at all. Both the food and drinks we ordered were flavorful, perfectly prepared, and consistently good over the two days we ate there. I would recommend trying this place and will make it a stop during future trips to the area.

Decent food - very overpriced. Louis backyard prices but without Louis backyard quality...Shrimp basket was good- ribs very bad. Oyster Rockefeller great as well... however for the price everything should have been excellent... I have no problems spending on a great dinner but hate paying great dinner price for a ok at best dinner... leaving this place for the hotel guests.
