Bland food - disappointing signature pasta.
Food was amazing, my only concern is the restaurant was mostly empty, and we got sat right between 2 of the only few couples there all on the same bench booth, made it hard to have a conversation without feeling like everyone could hear, it is also still not the most comfortable to be so close to random strangers when there is amble room.
The menu was completely different than what was shown on Open Table.
The service was okay however the value of the dining experience was not on par with the final bill. The food was standard at best. We ordered the shrimp and salmon entrees. The side dish of green beans was bland and not worth the extra charge. Earlier this week my girlfriend and I ate at Hell’s Kitchen and the bills were almost identical, but with one difference the Food At Hell’s Kitchen didn’t suck. When looking for Italian Cuisine look elsewhere or maybe the Olive Garden.
Great service and accommodating with dietary requests (vegetarians). Glad we got a chance to try. Enjoyed and recommend the mandilli di seta. The desserts were AMAZING also!

Got reservations here during restaurant week and this place did not disappoint. Both types of salads were really good. The porchetta and ravioli were the best. The cannolis were excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed you could not add a protein to any pasta. Had the Gnocchi and honestly tasted like It came out of a jar. Kale salad was great but definitely do not recommend. Would not eat here again. Service was just average.

Great authentic Italian food experience. Our server German was great! He assisted w/wine selection to pair w/my dinner. We went with a few of his recommendations including dessert and we were not disappointed. Definitely will visit again when in town. Thanks German!

Our visit was amazing. Our waiter was outstanding. We were not sure what to eat. The waiter asked what we liked and he was so helpful, very knowledgeable about all the food that we decided to let him order for us. We were a table of 4 on a weekday lunch so it wasn’t very busy, only a few other tables filled besides us. The service was great, the waiters were always on top of everything and making sure we were getting all that we needed, the bread basket was great quality and the olive oil+ balsamic vinegar was great quality as well. We ordered calamari and the brodetto (mussels). Grilled Calamari came out over cooked, tasted more of burnt rubber and had the consistency, was a struggle to eat but I managed for the sake of not wasting food. Mussels came out perfectly however. The next things we ordered were casonzei (pork and veal ravioli), spaghetti, gamberi (shrimp), and filetto di Manzo. Casonzei was alright, nothing impressive about the taste. Spaghetti was impressive, highly recommend. Gamberi (shrimp) was good, nothing special but good. Filetto di Manzo was ordered medium rare, came out of kitchen very rare, on the blue side of things, server immediately takes it away so it can be cooked more. I’m not sure how they cooked it, whether they put it back on the stove, oven, or flat out microwaved it but the plate came back unusually hot and the steak had all the juiciness it previously had sucked out of it. It was medium well at best and well done in some areas. The taste of the steak and seasoning was all in all great, but it went from blue to overcooked when requesting medium rare. Dessert was great, highly recommend the dessert if you come here especially the Black Forest cake.

Excellent in every way except the noise level which could be help the proper acoustical tile placed underneath the tables and other strategic areas.
We loved our experience at Matteo’s. The food was outstanding and delicious. The freshly made pasta was incredible. The servant was very attentive and made sure that everything was just right. We highly recommend Matteo’s.
The wait staff was excellent. The kitchen was SLOW! The food was fair. We came for dinner. And this was at 5:15. I can only imagine what it's like at normal times. Ordered a salad and entree. It took an hour and a half. We couldn't wait for any longer, so we left before they could bring a birthday cake. We came back later that evening to get a slice of cake and coffee. Again, the wait staff was quick with the coffee, but the cake took 20 minutes. And they wrote happy anniversary instead of birthday.
