Great service and food
Best dinner of our trip! Great for vegetarians too.
Alexa was amazing server!
Amazing food and service! The grilled calamari and stuffed squash blossoms and red shrimp linguine was delicious and the pistachio cake!
It was our first visit due to restaurant week.
We shall return.
Impeccable service and even better food! Great experience all around from beginning to end. AMAZING!!!
Had a great business dinner with clients. All enjoyed their meals, no problems. I would do this again!
Our server James is the best! Our food was just okay…the lamb chops were very tough but the pasta was good.
Our visit was amazing. Our waiter was outstanding. We were not sure what to eat. The waiter asked what we liked and he was so helpful, very knowledgeable about all the food that we decided to let him order for us. I have never been so satisfied with a meal such as the one we had... Ever. We will most definitely recommend to all our friends to visit. Thank you again for a great meal and your staff
We were a table of 4 on a weekday lunch so it wasn’t very busy, only a few other tables filled besides us. The service was great, the waiters were always on top of everything and making sure we were getting all that we needed, the bread basket was great quality and the olive oil+ balsamic vinegar was great quality as well. We ordered calamari and the brodetto (mussels). Grilled Calamari came out over cooked, tasted more of burnt rubber and had the consistency, was a struggle to eat but I managed for the sake of not wasting food. Mussels came out perfectly however. The next things we ordered were casonzei (pork and veal ravioli), spaghetti, gamberi (shrimp), and filetto di Manzo. Casonzei was alright, nothing impressive about the taste. Spaghetti was impressive, highly recommend. Gamberi (shrimp) was good, nothing special but good. Filetto di Manzo was ordered medium rare, came out of kitchen very rare, on the blue side of things, server immediately takes it away so it can be cooked more. I’m not sure how they cooked it, whether they put it back on the stove, oven, or flat out microwaved it but the plate came back unusually hot and the steak had all the juiciness it previously had sucked out of it. It was medium well at best and well done in some areas. The taste of the steak and seasoning was all in all great, but it went from blue to overcooked when requesting medium rare. Dessert was great, highly recommend the dessert if you come here especially the Black Forest cake.
I ordered what the waiter recommended--it wasn't very good.
Excellent in every way except the noise level which could be help the proper acoustical tile placed underneath the tables and other strategic areas.
We loved our experience at Matteo’s. The food was outstanding and delicious. The freshly made pasta was incredible. The servant was very attentive and made sure that everything was just right. We highly recommend Matteo’s.
The wait staff was excellent. The kitchen was SLOW! The food was fair. We came for dinner. And this was at 5:15. I can only imagine what it's like at normal times. Ordered a salad and entree. It took an hour and a half. We couldn't wait for any longer, so we left before they could bring a birthday cake. We came back later that evening to get a slice of cake and coffee. Again, the wait staff was quick with the coffee, but the cake took 20 minutes. And they wrote happy anniversary instead of birthday.
It was our first visit to Matteo's and we were delighted with the experience. The food is excellent. We had 3 courses - the delicious Tuscan kale salad was amazing as well as the pork and veal ravioli in brown butter sauce and the German Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Mousse was over the top! Great service and pleasant atmosphere. We'll be back.
Overpriced given quality of food. Pasta was oily and terribly acoustics. It’s a head scratcher on the good food reviews. We are from New York City, this was a let down. The only plus, service was great.
Great service and the food was outstanding. Nearly had tears in my eyes when I took the first bite
Seating and tables was very close together and loud. Food and cocktails were good though.
Wonderful time, great food and atmosphere. Would def recommend
The pesto pasta and salmon were tasty; the salads were okay, but very simple and flavorless. The plates are small. The servers are wonderful and friendly.
This is an Italy restaurant - not American Italian. The food is super excellent.
Our server, German, was more than outstanding - he was exceptional. He guided us through the menu expertly. German gave excellent advise based upon what we liked. German was fun and made the experience feel like we were with family.
If you go to Las Vegas, we highly recommend going to the Venetian and eat at Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano!
Grateful that they participated in Restaurant Week. Gave us a chance to try. It was wonderful. The service was a bit slow. Took 2 hours for lunch.
Our server was friendly and attentive to our questions and he gave us great advice on what we were contemplating ordering. Food was great. Really enjoyed the calamari dish. Wine paired well with our pasta which was excellent but extremely rich! A good food coma ensued
We went early on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. The cocktails, food and wine were great, servers were attentive but, not overbearing. The prices are a bit steep but, not overboard for a nice restaurant in Las Vegas. Would definitely return.
We booked matters because it’s on Eater38’s list, so we were excited and had relatively high expectations. Across the board, it didn’t live up. I wouldn’t say it was a bad meal at all, it just fell short of the standard I’d expect from a restaurant on that list. The kale salad was over salted. The batter on the stuffed zucchini flowers was heavy and a bit soggy. The rest of the meal was fine. Tasty, quite heavy, but nothing to write home about.
Went for our anniversary. Food was terrible. Service was good. My husband was sick all night from the food.
Our server was very nice. The food was awful. My husband had the seafood pasta and there was these rubber things in it that you couldn't even chew or identify. This was our 30th anniversary dinner, we were so dissatisfied.
Some of the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. The pasta is homemade and very delicious. The Seabass was seared to perfection. We had panna cotta for dessert and it was very creamy.
Our waiter was awesome. Food was delicious. I had the gnocchi /duck. Highly recommend. Portion size is perfect. My granddaughter had regular spaghetti with red sauce and loved it. Homemade pasta yummy
Grilled calamari excellent
We enjoyed the northern Italian cooking. Every dish was done well and authentic.
The seafood pasta was blah. The prices were very expensive for the quality of food. Everyone sat close to everyone else(not in their party.)
Great service and food. The pasta is excellent and I highly recommend it.
I had the scallops. They were absolutely perfect! My husband and father-in-law both loved their salads and seafood. My son cleaned his plate, which means he loved his pasta.
The complimentary bread is ordinary white bread. Nothing Italian or special. No foccacia or bruchetta. The size of the salmon entree is for a teenager. Bottle of wine overpriced.
Beautiful restaurant with great service. I had the gnocchi which was phenomenal. My blood orange martini was also on point. Would love to go back some time to try some more dishes.
Delicious home made pasta made fresh that day. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a great meal. Price is a bit of sticker shock: 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 soda ($5 for a coke) came to $98 with tip and tax for a lunch. Outside of that, food, service, ambiance, everything was spot on.
Our experience was beyond our expectations. Our waiter ,I believe his name was Greg was the best!
Had many different waiters...hard to know who to appreciate
We were very impressed by the food and drink. But, a special note to the staff. We've dined out lots in our lives and the way everyone pitched in and worked as a team was extraordinary.
Excellent Italian place! Can find unique uncommon dishes here. One of the best Italian meals I've ever had
