The Factory Kitchen is the product of a long-standing friendship between Ferdinandi and Chef Angelo Auriana. Ferdinandi and Auriana share the vision of imparting their Italian roots and memories through food and hospitality. The original trattoria, serving traditional Italian recipes, opened its doors October 2013, in The Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles. The Factory Kitchen takes its name from the street it’s located on and the former factory building complex that hosts it, but the restaurant’s soul is purely Italian.

In the kitchen, Chef Auriana prepares dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The approachable menu at The Factory Kitchen highlights the simplicity of traditional local recipes. These recipes have been passed down from generation to generation within Italian families.

Beverage Director and Sommelier Francine Diamond-Ferdinandi has created a wine list which reflects the essence of their distinctive regions.

The ladies at the door were able to help me adjust to an increased group. We collaborated to move our group and overstayed our reservation. No pressure... Just excellent service. Very impressed with the wait staff.. extremely attentive. Glasses full, food timely, salmon and calamari were exquisite.. we will be bag... Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Service was slow. Seemed like waiter was punishing us for not purchasing a cocktail or being ready to order our dinner quickly.

The cuisine by Chef Eduardo Perez is outstanding. We have been fans since Lupo at Mandalay Bay and are very happy he’s back in Vegas! We have had the pleasure of dining twice at Matteo’s and have repeated the branzino, lamb chops, mandili, and Ligurian focaccia tradizionale. Special mention to the salmon and peperu appetizers. Lampo Borgoluce Prosecco went very well with our dinner from start to finish. The cannoli was delicate and delicious, surprisingly better than in Rome, Florence or Venice (believe it!) I applaud Chef Eduardo for consistently cooking up superior and savory food! Our server Tomas was prompt, attentive, and kind. We will be coming back every chance we get. I hear there will be seasonal changes in the menu and look forward to these delicious surprises.

Food was way over overpriced and not good. I ordered the mandilli which our waiter really hyped up. When I received it I was very disappointed, it was just a large sheet pasta with a cream pesto poured over it. I also added shrimp. I paid $15 extra for 3 shrimp! Total cost of that dish not including tax or tip $36.00. The display, the taste nothing about this dish was any good and certainly not worth $36.00. It was so bad I could not finish it. My wife got the fettuccini. It tasted a bit better but also not great. There are far better Italian restaurants in Las Vegas to try.

Excellent food, and the wait staff were terrific. Food came out fast, was reasonably priced for a restaurant in Vegas. Every item on the menu is made to order, and uber fresh. Excellent date night dinner spot.

We had the Roasted Veal with mushrooms and Marsala wine. OMG. Just melted in your mouth. We also had pasta with lobster. We just wanted to hug the chef. Incredible. The other person at our table had grilled lamb chops. We couldn't get enough. On a scale of 1 to 10, we give this restaurant a perfect 100. Thank you for one of the Best dinners we ever had. Can't wait to come back to Las Vegas.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant on the strip. You will not find your typical Italian dishes here. They are BETTER! All the pasta is made in house and DELICIOUS. The bar always serves the PERFECT tasting drinks. SERVICE is amazing.

The food at Matteo's was delicious, especially the pasta dishes and desserts! I informed the exec chef that I was vegetarian, and he pulled together a great menu for me. Reasonably priced food and everyone was extremely kind.

Matteo's was excellent. Our waiter suggested that we enjoy the food family style, and we had a great meal sharing the dishes. We did ask that each dish be brought out separately, as different courses, and she expertly spaced them. We had 4 courses, plus dessert, starting with the absolutely fantastic prosciutto di parma. We noticed that just about all the tables around us also had this appetizer, and it is the definite don't miss item at Matteo's. Our next three items: pasta di mare, tortellini, and gnocchi were all excellent, each with its own exquisite sauce. The service kept up nicely clearing the plates and silverware between each course to ensure we could enjoy each item and their individual sauces properly. The dessert was fantastic as well. Overall, an excellent dinner.

Not the best. They made us wait for the 8th member of our party when only 7 had arrived. Honestly seemed excessive since the table obviously would be otherwise full. Service was also rather flawed,.took a long time to get drinks. However, when the food came it was pretty good. The appetizer platter had some great meats and cheeses and the drinks were well made and presented.

Wonderful dining experience. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Very relaxed. Waiter was very knowledgeable and made excellent menu suggestions. The staff was very attentive, plates were cleared quickly, water glasses kept full. We also enjoyed watching the pastas being made.

This was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had.. has the pasta that has 4.5oz or shaved truffle on it (AMAZING), as well as the steak tartare and Charcuterie board which were fantastic! Go here... you will not be disappointed
