We visited Matilda Bay during the Sydney Covid lockdown which explains why it was so quiet. The staff were friendly and our food was brought our quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The beer paddles were tasty and finishing on a middy of our favourite ale completed the meal. Have been here before with a very different atmosphere and will visit again.

Good was awful. With two groups - all those that had burgers were so disappointed. Dry bread. Meat (pulled pork and brisket) were poor, pizzas were soggy (base) and not fully cooked. One person asked if chips came with burger when ordering- said no, so ordered those on top, yet it did come with chips. $12.50 for a chips! Unbelievable. You disappointed 12 people who all felt the same. Won’t be coming back and telling others to avoid

The food was ok for a pub the unfortunate thing was the ginger beer I drove up for was not selling anymore as of the day before. I was very disappointed as I spoke highly of it to my husband.
