Our waiter Piotr was amazing, and the food and drinks were perfect. The salads were huge, we could have shared. Chocolate lava cake capped off a great meal. Hope to return soon!

It’s mind boggling how many hyped restaurants can’t deliver. But at Match in SoNo, the team is still delivering some of the most delicious and well-crafted meals in all of Fairfield County. On a recent visit, we sampled five different entrees, from a gorgeous swordfish steak to gnocchi bolognese to a perfect steak frites to a simple pork loin. All were top-notch. Even a simple salad was far superior to most you’ll find locally. The fare is a testament to excellent sourcing, hearty portions and attention to detail. Bravo, chef! You’re still rocking it after 20-plus years!

I am 30 years old and lived in Norwalk my entire life- I have always passed by Match Restaurant but last night I decided to try and it surpassed all of my expectations! I’m almost kicking myself for not trying much sooner! I generally don’t enjoy eating much- but the chef working last night might have changed my entire view on how good food can be! I can say confidently that the only other time I have felt as euphoric from great food was when I was in Sicily. I ordered the Salmon and Octopus, both of which were comparable to the fresh fish from the sea that I had in Sicily. Match Restaurant was such a fine experience that I would have even recommended it to my father, who loves good food but dislikes being in locations with higher pedestrian traffic, but even he has already been based on the great reviews! 10/10 for me & I will always suggest this location to anyone who asks about dining in Norwalk, CT. (The staff is also amazing and had the perfect amount of attentiveness)
