   We recently celebrated our anniversary at Mastro’s in Thousand Oaks, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was elegant and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure every detail was just right. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the wine selection was impressive. For dinner, we indulged in the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the buttery lobster mashed potatoes were a decadent treat. Of course, we couldn’t leave without ordering the famous butter cake—an absolute must-try! The entire evening felt luxurious and celebratory, and we truly appreciated the impeccable service and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, Mastro’s in Thousand Oaks is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

   I was taken to my table with my wife and seated, then within 5 minutes we were asked to get up and our table was given to another party. The hostess told us they made a mistake and we needed to give up the table that they already seated us at. This was embarrassing and unacceptable, Mastro’s made a mistake and they made the paying customer responsible. I have been to multiple Mastro’s and this one was the worse. I will not be dinning with Mastro’s again, this experience has left a lasting impression.

   We sat at the bar when we arrived, we were asked to go to our table when it was ready. Everything was perfect, even when they corked my wine bottle. Such a fun evening!

   We were here on Valentine’s 2025. We had a great experience overall, the only negative was it took a while for someone to get our orders. But once the food was served, it was great. Food as always is exceptional.

   We just had our Valentines dinner at Mastros. I love that it’s the regular restaurant experience. They don’t make you order from a pre fixe menu like many restaurants that try to pack in the customers. It’s the same delicious food as always. We sat in the bar area where they had live music. Normally, I find this too loud for a nice conversation but last night was lovely. The only negative I can say is that they normally have the chocolate butter cake for Valentines Day but they didn’t do it this year. It is SO good!! I think they should have it year round. Otherwise, salads, filet, lobster, brussel sprouts, potatoes, and drinks were all delicious.

   We had such a lovely time at Mastro’s Steakhouse for my cousin’s birthday dinner. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and really went above and beyond. They were also able to accommodate my dairy allergy which I really appreciate. We will definitely be back!

   Always solid. Brittany is the best. Martini value very good. At least 2 pours per shaker

   Spent $57 on a steak and drinks and there was no toilet paper or toilet seat covers in the bathroom. Seems pretty tacky for such a swanky place. The drinks took FOREVER

    The food is solid but service at Mastro’s is Four Seasons caliber and it alone will bring us back!
