   Would have been great if the server at this expensive restaurant understood that when someone dines at an “upscale establishment” to celebrate a special occasion, birthday, anniversary etc, that we really don’t come for or expect a free dessert of the servers choice. If we choose to order the highly advertised special dessert, just add the charge to our $600 bill for two and make us happy right to the end! Manager covered the sold out story but tried to rectify the disappointment, she’s a good manager.

   The food is always consistent. Service was a little slower than usual and not as attentive as in the past. Seating is a little crowded but I understand based on the size of the location.

   Since going to Mastro’s I have a hard time ordering anywhere else because it usually turns out to be a disappointment. Very few can compare with Mastro’s ribeye.

    Not the best service tonight at Mastros. Not sure if it was busier for a Sunday then expected. Our server and service was just not good.
