Our experience was fantastic! Great food as always! But NooNie, our server, was simply amazing!!!!
Great job General Manager Rebecca and her amazing team!!!!
Maestro’s never disappoints, steaks are perfect service is perfect and wines are fabulous. Never miss a chance to have the butter cake for dessert.
It was our 10th wedding anniversary and the menus for my wife and I were printed with 10th wedding anniversary at the top kudos to opentable and maestros!
The visit there was great from start to finish!!
They gave us a personalized copy of the menu with being our anniversary.
I had a Long Island Top Shelf iced tea as my cocktail and was probably one of the best i ever had in my lifetime!!
My wife had the sea bass and lobster Bisque while i had the King Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and the veal chop. We also had the lobster mashed potatoes and Onion Rings.
They also gave us a mini buttercake on the house as well which was fantastic!!
They also followed up with a phone call the next day and asked me about the evening. They are the first ones that ever called me with a foolow-up. I will definitely without a douby go back there!!
It was amazing
Pork chop was dry. Waiter was asked prior to ordering. Not up to my expectations
Wonderful evening for my birthday! Michael our waiter was exceptional attentive and the food was delicious!
Thank you for always taking care of me and my Office Manager. Food is always very good & so is the service.
Had a wonderful dinner!!! Thoroughly enjoyed dining in the “fireplace room”. Would highly recommend this restaurant:)
Great times as always and superb service....had a super time
Great steaks!! Cocktails are some of the best around. Worth every penny!
My Husband and I ate here for a celebration. Veggie roll for app was excellent. We ordered the 18oz boneless rib eye. It was dry and tasteless. The creamed spinach and brussel sprouts were excellent. Service was excellent. We will never order that steak again.
Service provided by Michael was fantastic. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday and they her feel like a princess. The food as usual was fantastic!
Excellent food and service. We definitely will be back.
We live in the neighborhood and love going to Mastros. We don't go often because it's pricey and we don't eat that much meat. But if you want a GREAT steak and a special dinner, it's the place to go.
Always an excellent overall dining experience at Mastro's Thousand Oaks. Food, service, ambience all exceptional whether for a family birthday celebration or business dinner. Wouldn't recommend bar area seating for groups larger than 2, as the live music makes it very difficult to have a conversation. We were a party of 6 and mistakenly asked for a table in the bar area and couldn't have an entire-table conversation.
The service was very good.In general the steaks were under cooked. One of the Kansas City Steaks was tough. The management replaced it and took the charge off the bill. The manager also gave us several free desserts in addition to the birthday piece of cake. The baked potato was under cooked(something I noticed at Mastro's in Scottsdale office. My filet was excellent.
We had a wonderful meal at Mastro's and celebrated an anniversary . The food is always good but I will say that my fish was not as flavorful as I usually experience . It could have been just me that evening, I will certainly try again. I know, I'm ordering fish at a steak house, but you've always come through for me in the past.
I look forward to my next visit.
Great night. Great food. Service was outstanding
Our first time there but it will definitely not be our last!
Don’t mistake this Mastro‘s with Beverly Hills. There’s no comparison. The food is excellent but beneath Beverly Hills. If your customer fine dining you’ll agree to service here Isn’t qualified for the menu. I always want my service to be a sophistica isn’t qualified for the menu. Most of the servers are qualified to work add a decent steakhouse but not Mastro’s. Then again Thousand Oaks never deserved a restaurant of this quality
Went there for our anniversary and was told it was very expensive, but after being there and visiting the restaurant it was pricey but well worth it the service was great and the food was tremendously tasty from the appetizers to the dessert, by far the best steak I’ve ever tasted
We had a reservation yet there was no server in our section. We sat at our table for a good 10 minutes - watched another table sat after us be greeted - before we were even approached with water. When our server did arrive he was great. Main meal was very slow to come out.
I’ve been to several Mastro’s Steakhouses, and I can honestly say that the quality of their meats and side dishes are outstanding and very delicious. This is especially true for the Thousand Oaks location. While their wine list is notable, I appreciate the fact that I can bring my own bottle of wine for a modest corkage fee without any objection or other unpleasantries sometimes associated with high end restaurants. This is a great place to wine and dine.
Enjoyed our anniversary. The steak was excellent, but the service was lacking.
We got a last minute reservation, so I wasn't too shocked that we were in the restaurants extension room with a completely different ambiance than the rest of the restaurant. Everyone at our table agreed that the Caesar salad lacked flavor and the chicken as well. Our waiter was very personable and professional. The butter cake was out of this world. Over all good first experience for the friends I brought.
Love this place! Food is always great and service is amazing!
Been to Mastro's many times and always love the experience. I know I can expect a great evening.
So it’s our 3rd anniversary this year and I decided to surprise my wife by going to Mastro’s Steakhouse. I used open tables to book our reservation a week in advance. I did ask for a few small requests; written “Happy 3rd Anniversary” on both of the menu and the dessert cake. On the day of our anniversary, Mastro’s called me to confirm everything. This place was very elegant, it located right here I. Thousand Oaks.
When we arrived they do valet parking which super inexpensive $4.50 fee, I paid the driver $8 with tip when we finished.
You enter the restaurant through this giant wooden door. The receptionists was very helpful they showed us to our table right away. This place does have a bar the second you walk in. Our waiter name is Tony, he did a wonderful job taking our orders. My wife ordered the rib-eye and I got the New York steak. Tony gave us a lot of info on the type of steak we wanted and how it is cooked. We waited for a good amount of time and finally our meal was brought out. Tony did an amazing job bring out our food. We also got the side order of mashed potatoes and cream corn. Tony scooped it out for us and put it on our plates. The plates was super hot, Tony did warn us about it.
After our meal I ask Tony to make the special request for the dessert. He honored the request. It was the butter cake with “Happy 3rd Anniversary” written in chocolate at the top of the plate. We managed to brought some of the ribeye steak home and ate it a few days later it was still juicy. Tony did an excellent job serving us and we hope to have him again.
Thanks team Mastro’s of Thousand Oaks
VERY NOISY VERY Expensive $52.00 for 8 oz. filet ONLY Two drinks and a $33.00 bottle of wine ...$300.00
We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Took 15 minutes to get bread basket and our order taken. Ended up late for our show afterwards because it took 1 hour for entrees.
I know it’s expensive, but it is such wonderful food. For a date each get a steak and share a vegetable or side. You will remember how great the steak is forever. I’m not even sure why they give you a knife to cut the steak. It is unbelievably tender and juicy. Our waiter (Chris) was so professional while still being human.
Super busy and loud. Food was super salty. Service was good. Mastro’s in Las Vegas is a lot better.
I think overall we had an amazing time! Our waiter was nice and helpful. It was quite loud in the romantic backroom with the fire (awesome) but once they closed the door, it was perfect.
It was our 1 year anniversary. They made it super special. Our menu you had "Happy 1st Anniversary," complimentary cake with it written on the plate. We felt special!
Food was delicious! Only downfall...a bit of a bummer. Our food was taken to bag up and it was lost so we didn't get to take all our leftovers.
Everytime we have visited we get a new experience. We have sat in the private room, the bar, and now the side room. Always a great experience.
Nice anniversary dinner at Mastro's As usual, a good time and good food.
The meal and ambiance was great as always. Se
Service was excellent.
Wanted a nice place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and Mastro’s did not disappoint. We were treated special from the moment we walked in, they printed our names on the menu along with happy 50th anniversary. The service was amazing, the food was exceptional, the restaurant was beautiful, we were not in anyway disappointed. We will definitely go back and look forward to enjoying other entrées on the menu. Thank you Mastro’s for making a special night one to remember.
Mastro’s made our anniversary special. Food was on point. Drinks were better than great!
I have been going to this restaurant since it opened in 2009/2010. I recently started going to Ocean Club Mastros in Malibu more frequently simply because I was entertaining clients. Last visit on 9/23/18 I noticed a distinct difference in the service and the creamed spinach was not up to par. We were greeted by one waitress with no service and 10 minutes later greeted by a waiter who ended up being our server without full communication. The creamed spinach is one of my favorite side dishes and it was far worse than I recall. It’s disappointing because this Mastro’s is closer to our home. The service was always pretty good in the past but in contrast with Ocean Club is was disappointing.
