    Our waiter, Cliff, was absolutely wonderful — he was attentive, professional, and made sure my gluten allergy was carefully accommodated. The steaks were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Even the French fries were spot on — crispy and perfectly seasoned. The only criticism was the lobster cocktail—the lobster was a bit chewy but it was till delicious. Great experience all around!

    We have never eaten at Mastro's. In fact, we don't eat at these kinds of fancy, expensive restaurants on our own accord. But I had been holding onto a $200 gift card from work, and we were celebrating a birthday, so we decided to give it a try. At first we were seated in an empty dining room, which would have been fine (it was still early) but there was construction noise outside, so we asked to move into the bar area, where they have an abundance of tables. It was much better. There were a few other people seated at the bar, and at 6pm a musician started playing, and it was a great atmosphere. Our server was excellent and kindly answered all our questions about the food. Our alvharino vinho verde wine was fine, but the lime sushi roll, Mambo salad, Chilean sea bass, & mushroom gnocchi were all excellent. Amazing, actually. Even the bread service was great. The staff is very attentive and it felt like a really special meal. So while this is generally outside of our comfort zone and certainly out of our general budget without a gift card, it was a wonderful experience, one we hope to repeat at another time. They even called today to thank us for dining there. A first-class place!

    From the moment we arrived we felt valued with just the right amount of attention. It was an anniversary dinner and we were greeted with the acknowledgement of our special celebration. The food was outstanding and the service matched.

    We celebrated a birthday dinner here while visiting the area. Ambiance was nice with live music, the singer was really talented. Service was excellent. Our party had the KC Ribeye, Filet, Halibut and Chilean Seabass. The steaks were excellent, wet-aged, the halibut was also very good. Chilean Seabass left something to be desired. Caesar and iceberg salads were solid starters. Maguro Lime sushi roll was not good, looked great when it came out but had an incredibly bitter, off-putting taste, even after removing the lime wedge. Would not recommend that roll. Butter cake desert was delicious, highly recommend. Overall a good experience.

    Cecil was perfect. Great balance of attentiveness and providing my family and I time to enjoy one another. He picked up on us trying to figure out what cut of meat our 12-year-old son had with his streak frites order recently enjoyed at another venue, he offered to bring our son a side of fries on the house (tremendous delighter - low-cost, high impact). Keep Cecil and encourage him to influence his peers, I'd imagine he could be a designated trainer or enter leadership if he had the interest. Congrats as he has earned our loyalty. thanks

    It was my birthday and as always, Mastros made it special. Hugo was our captain and he was FABULOUS. Dinner was tasty, from the drinks to dessert. Thank you again
