   The tables were so close we couldn’t get in and out to use the restroom. Being a high end restaurant I was surprised when they admonished us that we were only allowed to stay for two hours.

   Service was good though my drink glass had a chip in the rim discovered by the waiter the first time, and had to be replaced 2 times. The scallops were amazing and so was the butter cake. The steak was okay but lobster was tough. The scallop potatoes were very good. Ambiance was great and music was nice. Overall experience I give it 4 stars.

   Staff, food, and ambiance was a 10/10. Best way to celebrate a birthday!

   We’ve been to other Mastro locations over the years. Have always had an excellent experience.This was our worst experience. The noise level was untenable and our waiter was curt and unprofessional. Among other things, our main courses came to the table before we were finished with our appetizers. His comment was that it wasn’t his job. When you’re spending hundreds of dollars, for a meal, I would think it would be incumbent on the waiter to make sure the food is well timed. The manager came over and attempted to rectify the problem, but by then, our meal was ruined.

   I have been to Mastro’s Beverly Hills and the Matros in Malibu multiple times, and this one is by far the worst one I’ve ever been to. Their steaks are never cooked properly, the creamed corn and cream spinach tasted like paste, the Florida stone crab clause were served frozen. The only thing that was on par with the regular Mastro’s standard was the butter cake. But everything else was terrible and I wouldn’t go back here.

   An extremely noisy dining experience ruined otherwise spectacular food and service quality to make what should have been an exceptional dining experience mediocre at best. Live music in the bar next to our dining room forced bar patrons to yell to be heard, which in turn required loud talking in our dining room to be heard. We had very hard time interacting with both wait staff and our guests. We have not found this with Mastros in AZ. What a shame our great meal and service were so compromised by a noise level that does not belong in a fine dining restaurant.

    Great as usual. Excellent service. A bit too loud in dining room by bar - hard to hold conversations.
